My Awful Universal Orlando Experience

Few things to Note

• I was in a party of 11 (7 adults if you include me, 3 kids ages 3, 10, and 12, and one 2 month old baby)
• I was in the parks the week of Halloween 2025 (Sun-Sat) Except Wednesday which was a break day
• Each post will have the date, park, and the start and end of each day I was in the park I.e. 9:00am to 9:00 pm
• When I say awful I really mean several things such as unlucky, not enjoyable, Bad Day, etc.
• I had (and still have as of writing this) an Arm cast on my left arm but I think if I wanted to, I would be able to ride everything but Hulk and I think Stardust racers.
• This will be long and very negative on some days and the opposite on others
• I rant and complain a few times in some of the days so be warned.
• Finally I would love if you guys left you thoughts on my trip and if its me or the parks

First day: Sunday October 26th Universal Studios/ some of IoA
9:35 am- 8:25 pm

This was my first time I went to USO since I was about 6 months old at which I cant even enjoy the park but I was excited as this would be the first time my sisters (age 10 and 12) Had ever been to city walk let alone USO so we all dressed in our Harry Potter outfits and got into the park.
We did the usual stuff minions,mummy,Transformers,E.T, and MIB which were great but the moment had come to go to Diagon Ally but just as we left MIB it started to rain hard so we ran over the the brick entrance and had to squeeze in between people we had a stroller mind you so this was not a fun time. we ran into Quality Quidditch Supplies so I could get a hoodie to cover my cast from getting wet. we looked around for a while and I was able to get the dragon mid fire breathing on my first try in the Weasley Wizards Wheezes entrance. we then ate at the Leaky Cauldron and I had a butter beer spilled on me after waiting for 25 minuets. We then tried Gringotts and it got delayed while we had gotten in the line but it only lasted for about 20 minuets until the line started to move again. We then went to some shops and got wands then made the "Mistake" of going on the Train not because the train wasn't cool but they said it was 15 minuets when it was really 1 hour. We ended the day with Mythoes and it was cool and had great food so we ate while we were leaving I had seen some heat lightning which at the time I didn't know what it was but overall good day.

Second day: Monday October 27th Epic Universe
Full park hours
This was the most hyped day even though it was only the second day because of the rides. We all woke up and put on matching shirts (Image of my shirt attached) and left in time to do the rope drop. we headed straight for Isles of Berk as soon as we all got in the park and we went to Dragon Rally Racers. Me and my dad both are sensitive to some things like spinning excessively or drops steeper than 45 degrees which meant me and him opted out and instead he got a Mac n cheese cone and we went to the training camp area with Lucy (my 3 year old Cousin) and her baby brother James who was 2 months old at the time. Lucy fought with me because in her words "Baby peach have Paci, Im baby peach, so I have Paci." this didn't help because Lucy didn't really like me she enjoyed to play with my sisters instead. by the time the others got off the ride Lucy was fighting me trying to get her to listen and after 5 minuets we all got ready and left for Dark Universe. When we arrived we had been amazed by the darkmoor town and whent to Monsters Unchained or MUC for the rest of this. MUC had an estimated wait time of about 20 minuets we went through the queue and as we entered the inside heard the first of many "Attention lab rats! The equipment is needing some extra tuning up so the doctor's work will beeeee briefly delayed" which I didn't think much of until I heard the second one in the room with the loud blue and some times orange wires and the chained up bat on the wall. Then we heard about 3 more of those still in that room and the 6th time I heard one it said it was an extended delay, 2 more of those and then we had to "evacuate" the line. as we were upset my dad went to get everyone in our party a one time use Express pass for anything but Mine cart and MoM which he shouldntve had to do that but they didn't give us them like they did for everyone else earlier so when we got them we decided to use them on MK bowsers challenge so we went to it and got a child swap pass and we got all the way up to the loading dock and we were the next to be placed in one of the rows before the ride either broke or was adding more but it took them 30 minuets before the delay was over and right as we made it to the volcano it broke down again only for 5 minuets but the smoke was still on so it was very overstimulating. We then went to the; and I'm sorry for my language; the Dog of a ride yoshi is that wont even allow anyone under 3 feet on but at Disney Worlds Pirates of the Caribbean you can bring a baby on even though it has a drop is incredibly stupid and of course the buttons don't even work for me or my sister so we're just sitting there on the ride doing nothing. I do like the ride but its a baby ride that wont allow a baby to ride so we went to the 1 up factory. I bought a little cute Diddy Kong and Donkey Kong headband and my sister got a pair of Yoshi shorts. we then tried to go on Mine cart Madness but they wouldnt let anymore people in the line because they said they were at capacity. we were gonna get some DK floats but they were allegedly out of something that was in the Floats and that we would have to wait until 9pm so we left to go to Harry Potter. Just like the first time just as we were about to go to Harry Potter it started to rain but not badly yet. we walked around a bit then left to go to our reservations for dinner at 4pm in the Blue Dragon I think it was called; as we entered a Massive thunderstorm started closing everything but MUC (which Had conveniently open up not 2 minuets ago) MoM and Mario kart. we chose to do MoM first because it was only a 20 minute wait and it was great and no breaks during the ride we rode it once more with baby swap and by then it stopped raining and most rides opened back up so we chose to go toward MUC and it was fine at first until we got to the room right before you get on the ride and then heard the delay space and stayed then we saw the lights turn on in the next room and you know the rest they kick us out and by then me and my dad had riden a total of 4 rides 2 of which were the damn Yoshi and Carousel which is a whole other thing im not ranting about so the rest of my group rode werewolf with the expresses we got from the MUC shutdown and we went to go look at shops and left but before we did leave we refunded our tickets which I disapproved but who cares I'm just a teenager with no imput when the adults are talking so not the best Epic Universe first time

Third Day: Tue October 28th Isles of Adventure
Full day

This day was like black and white compared to the day before. After the events of the monster incident I was skeptical about it but thought "what could go wrong" this day the little kids under 5 years old and 2 adults went to MNSSHP so we didn't have to wait with baby swap and we immediately found out that this would be great for today.
me and my father didn't have a death wish so instead of going on velocicoaster with the others we rode one of my top rides now; Harry Potter Forbidden Journey. we rode it three times this day and never once did it break. *cough Monster cough* we had a blast going on river adventure just me and my 10 year old sister and had so much fun Meeting my new sleep paralysis demon on the cat in the hat nightmare ride. ended the day with some great pizza at Pizza Predattoria which was the end of what I wish epic was like.
