I know. It's Universal. They're good like that with having a lot of places accept the AP discount :)

Perhaps I could be wrong, but didn't @testtrack321 say early in November that it'd just last a month and that they got issues with Universal due to..certain aspects of the M&G?

I think if they were in any violation, it would have been removed a lot sooner.

Truth is, we cannot be sure how long ago it was removed...

Actually we can. I was there on the 27th and it was still there. So it had to be recent.

Does anyone know what the actual penalty for promoting Marvel in the Orlando parks would be? Steep fines? Has it happened before?

I'd imagine there is a lot of interest about this from both sides of the camp so I'd say this is probably a fairly recent thing as well.

If Universal broke the contract, Disney would have the grounds to terminate the contract.
If Disney broke the contract, Universal would be able to sue Disney for breach-of-contract and win a settlement.

Anything else that may occur would happen behind closed doors. Who knows what that could entail.

The M&G ran for the full 20 days the the studio paid for it to be advertised in park for. It was always supposed to end December 2nd, I mentioned that in the Doctor Strange thread when the M&G first started.

According to RAXIP over on Magic who works in entertainment and is pretty much always on it with entertainment rumors, the M&G is running 5 days a week for 20 days total. Last day is scheduled to be Thursday, December 1st.

If it weren't for the arc reactor-looking thingy and the way one of the people are holding their hands up blaster-style, I wouldnt be thinking Iron Man. But it looks like it. <shrug>

You know, I've been wondering how they could do an Avengers ride not too similar to Spider-Man. Now we know (possibly).

"Bring in the Iron Legion" :D
