I will say I noticed that it felt like the movement has been toned down a bit already, particularly when Ygor takes control and when Dracula escapes. Both moments are not quite as 'violent' as they were before.

Ride vehicle. AA-wise the movement's have gotten much better, especially the first and second Dracula animatronics (plus as I said before, both scenes are staged much better now, the escape especially with your vehicle not only getting closer to Drac, but also lowered a bit, giving both him and the machine a bigger sense of scale).

Gotcha.

Does anyone know if and when the ride vehicle vibration will return?

Maybe you were riding on the center of vehicle? volume of movement varies from corner to the center though.

The vibration has been back for awhile and they added even more haptic effects!

Tried every seat on Tuesday, still didn't feel as intense as it did in early May.

At this point, I know so many already have their thoughts on most of the attractions at Epic, but I really just wanna give my thoughts on MU and quite frankly, I don’t think it’s gonna be a popular one here. But hopefully at least someone in here may agree with me.

Im not sure if it’s because I had something made up in my mind of what this would look like; or because everyone was saying its the greatest dark ride ever made, but to me this was really disappointing. Are the AAs impressive? Yes. But to me, almost everything else just isn’t and it really drags it down for me unfortunately. Various curtains and backstage areas are so clearly visible that I don’t understand how anyone can overlook it. This isn’t even like something i’m purposefully seeking out, it’s just right there within your vision and breaks the immersion. On top of that the lighting doesn’t help either. I don’t know if this is because of the screens being so bright it lights up the room more, but it really becomes detrimental to the ride experience in my honest opinion. Great example of this is when one of the brides is on an arm rotating around a pillar while Dracula is on a screen next to it.

I also think the ride is just simply confusing. The audio becomes so unclear once Dracula escapes that it just completely loses me after that storyline wise. This also coincides with the pacing being very strange. I get that it’s supposed to be “hectic” once he escapes but to me it’s not even in a good way just confusing. Maybe this is also due partly to the vehicle movements not being very thrilling or the fact that you only get to see these AAs for just a few seconds in flashing strobe effects. To top it all off the ending is so incredibly underwhelming especially when Dracula doesn’t work and you can easily see above/behind the figure. To have that be the big finale of the ride is just baffling to me even when the AA does work. Some other small things I disliked were the screen resets, Dracula and brides on a scrim, and Gillman clearly just on the floor for some reason. I also find it weird that to go into the catacombs “beneath Darkmoor” we literally go upstairs in the Manor and were there, but thats just a small detail I noticed not really an issue.

Overall while the AAs and preshows are very impressive it was still largely disappointing imo. I didn’t find it very scary either but I completely understand that they cant go to something like HHN levels of scare. But even something they said themselves which is being able to “feel characters breathing” I was waiting for and just didn’t happen. Hopefully my thoughts will change over time but thats just how I feel.

I agree with your cons, but the pros outweigh all of them IMO.

On the seeing backstage areas, I do think this was an oversight (whether due to lack of time/funding to fully complete thematic pieces, but I hope it's an issue they are looking to solve over time. (I think a strobe light or fog effect will be fine enough, kind of like Tiana's final lift hill effect).

Out of all the effects, the "bride on a stick" is one I'm not a fan of and hope they can add some sort of fog effect to hide it's visibility.

The finale issue I 100% agree on. It abruptly ends in a rough matter, even with the finale Drac working.

On the climbing upstairs to go down to the catacombs, this is a "suspension of disbelief" moment that we theme park fans need to lighten up on. There are practical elements we fans have to assume can't happen. Maybe they could have created an elaborate preshow to lower us down visually (but physically up - reverse of Haunted Mansion) to move guests to the 2nd floor, but I think that's an unnecessary issue.

I remember hearing there was a fog effect added to the first Dracula that better hid the robotic arm, but I've yet to see it on any of my rides or in any POVs. The Bride on the arm (at least IMO) looked significantly better last time I rode (June 10th) thanks to new strobe lighting on her and a slightly altered movement profile.

As for the finale.... yeah they gotta figure something out there.

There's only really two significant problem areas to me for backstage views - after Drac escapes, and the transition to the third to last screen where the RV points you directly towards a large, illuminated black curtain overhead. Wondering if just making the post-Drac escape pitch black would alleviate that issue somewhat - the flashing chains are...something, but illuminating them just reveals the curtain and the walkway railing. There's also enough audio and motion during that scene that it wouldn't feel empty to me without any visuals imo, just spitballing here.

I've only seen finale Drac working completely in videos. But even then, the sunbeam is kinda thin looking, off target, and isn't really that impressive of an effect. For the big climax of the ride, the scene doesn't play quite as "big" as it should imo.
