Kind of a weird one but I’m so very curious

The Statue of Liberty head on Spider-Man scares the sh*t out of me and I can’t even look at the FJ dragon, everything else in the parks is fine with me, I’m very excited for this ride and can’t wait to see it, based on this is there anything that I might absolutely hate on this ride?

Interesting question, I’d have to say there will be multiple things lol

This isn’t super related to the ride, per se, but how do you mark something as a spoiler? I want to make sure I don’t type a spoiler and it not be hidden.

Is the fear being Very Large Faces in front of your face? I feel this for Alton Tower’s Curse of Alton Manor.

For the Boris Karloff Frankenstein in the queue, is he a statue or a scare actor?

Its a statue in a glass case. It’s supposed to be his corpse and there’s a clear tv going up and down his body showing off his skeleton and insides.

Yes it’s exactly that, I’m glad someone understands where I’m coming from.

Are there any large laboratory sets in the ride, the premise being all about capturing the monsters makes me think that there won’t be.

Yeah I normally don’t get spooked but I remember thinking oof I did not like that.

Funnily enough, another example I have from the UK is the ending of Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s Wallace and Gromit ride. The ride ends with a Wererabbit jumpscare that totally got my butt, lol.

There are! Victoria, Dracula, Frank, and Ygor all have at least one scene in a lab setting.

Dracula doesn’t escape right away, everything leading up to his first appearance is “under control”.

Does anyone know how long this ride might be? My guess is around 4 min similar to FJ or Spiderman. I know this ride relies heavily on set pieces, so I'm curious how much time there is to take in the sets during the ride.

Yeah I’d put it at 3-4 minutes. It moves at a breakneck pace so it feels faster. I’ll have to time it next time I ride

Which character do you think gets closest to the rider? Which figure is the biggest?

Hearing about the merch— prepare to give them all your money.

There is a whole line of Dark Universe Christmas stuff— ornaments, tree skirts, stockings. There is a pewter tankard from the Burning Blade that will be a “must have” for many people on here…

Biggest figure is probably one of the draculas or frankensteins, the mummy is also pretty big, closest is probably final dracula.

What was one of the most "how did they do that" moments or jaw dropping moment of Monsters Unchained?

Folks, we gotta pull back on the questions. This is a Review Thread, not a Q&A thread.

At this point make one.
This is clearly going to be the topic of discussion here until you do make one.
