In recent developments through the past day, the iconic brand of satire, MAD Magazine, is ending after a 67 year run.

MAD Magazine to Effectively Close After 67 Years | Hollywood Reporter

While they plan on going forward, releasing versions containing materials from past MAD Magazines, alongside books and special collections; will no longer be selling them directly through newstands. Additionally, no new content will be created for MAD Magazine going forward.

A shame, another casualty of the AT&T buyout, my father was a big fan growing up and shared MAD with me as a child. When they had their big relaunch last year I got him a subscription and he absolutely loved it.
