Universal Monsters feels like a top contender for future expansion (whether that be short-term or long-term), but I don't think Monsters Unchained from Orlando would ever work in the park due to its similarities to Forbidden Journey. I don't know what condition Mummy is currently in regarding ride service life, but its eventual closure could be lessened if they decided to create a more modern themed coaster featuring all the Universal Monsters.

in fairness, I think jerrod was talking more generally (a "monsters coaster") rather than endorsing the werewolf coaster. I hear you though, we could do worse than Mummy.

Yes, It doesn't have to be a one to one

More on Themeing...I mean they have stuff from the Epic Monster land...why not smash it together for a Dark ride/coaster like mummy?

Yeah. A highly-themed indoor monster coaster would be awesome; I'd take a love child between the Gringott's coaster and Orlando's Mummy coaster where we're going through dark crypts, graveyards, caves, whatever. Hell, throw in a dark, twisted version of ET's forest queue with fog and I'd be in heaven.

How many years has it been since they've indicated they would tear down the soundstages to the right of Transformers?

I would love to see something similar to Dark Universe on the lower lot, but instead of Monsters Unleashed since we have FJ, I would love to see an alternate version of a Monsters E-ticket where it's an indoor coaster. I think it would be great!

Funnily, had the Dark Universe gone more according to plan, that's basically what Revenge of the Mummy would've turned into on both coasts.

I want that version to be thrilling and fun, but also really creepy at the same time, kinda like a bit of ET but more a bit of the traditional haunted house. I also see it as a way to make up for the fact the USH stopped having a traditional, permanent, horror maze years ago (such as the Hours of Horrors and The Walking Dead).

Bringing this up but the Chiller Plant and Mummy Venue are behind green fences for the side of the Starway. While I don’t know if it’s extended towards the area behind it closer to SS22-24, they have left the Dead Exposure facade untouched for the moment as a byproduct.

A slew of trees have been marked around the hillside.

Do we have an inkling on whether this is related to hillside reinforcement or another project entirely?

Project (even if it's land clearing and shoring/strengthening the hill side) now has a trailer parked right where the ADA drop off/pick up would be.

The Mummy isn't going anywhere. It's by far the most popular indoor roller coaster at USH, not to mention one of the few "see the stars, ride the movies" concepts that thrived 20 years ago. When I went to HHN Hollywood last week, the lines were pretty long.

With Veterans Day out of the way, they are now properly beginning the land clearing.

Could this be related to the long-rumored Tram plaza relocation?

I am begging for everyone to understand this is not a new ride. It's essential infrastructure. Please. Enough.
