GB, if it were even in the cards, deserves a fully-realized, fully-fleshed-out attraction.

but where would it go. and how long would it take? and what ride system? and with animatronics like men in black? or screens like spiderman? and how long would they take to build?

but replacing rockit with Ghostbusters would probably be super quick. (well as quick as a roller coaster would take)

personally In general much much prefer rides like spider man or men in black or forbidden journey than a roller coaster. but it would be cool to have Ghostbusters in the park. and a dark ride might never even be possible. but a Ghostbusters roller coaster would be easier?

I’d say that about Jurassic World too, (especially seeing what they were able to do in Beijing,) but it’s not like VelociCoaster isn’t good.

The issue with a proper themed Jurrasic World attraction in Orlando is that it would be difficult to differentiate it from River Adventure. You could use a different ride system, but I feel that it would inevitably hit the same story beats.

Yeah, VelociCoaster has the benefit of being an additional piece in a land that already has the big, fleshed-out E-ticket. So it can get away with just being what it is (if you think it gets away with it... opinions may vary!).

If it were the only representation of the JURASSIC franchise in an attraction, I would find it quite unsatisfactory.

I mean, I'm not in charge of anything. But you've got underutilized areas all throughout the park, as well as several attractions that need replacing on plots that could house dark rides.

The only point I'm making is that if you want a minimally-themed coaster to go up quickly, it would be much better-served to be themed to F&F, which is a property that basically doesn't require or demand any theming at all.

I prefer VelociCoaster over River Adventure, but I’ve spoken before of why that ride doesn’t resonate with me.

Back to the point, I don’t see Ghostbusters getting a ride. Fast & Furious, like Jurassic World, is an in-house property, so it works well for a stand alone bare bones coaster—without having to worry about a rights holder demanding more placemaking.

Fast and Furious, if actually built as a proper rollercoaster, is an easy sell. No one is expecting Hagrid level theming for this so as long as it’s thrilling it can be placed literally anywhere.

As someone who always advocates for more shows, Ghostbusters just fits that mold best for me. Lot they can do there, Nintendo will bring the interactive rides moving forward.

If it's F&F, then the dream would be for queue/load/maintenance to be the old Supercharged area and a ride path incorporating the old HRRR ride area. Right?

Yes. This. The challenge is getting it over there with absolutely destroying the ambiance of New York.

I wouldn't want to sacrifice the giant Supercharged plot for a queue. That's losing two attractions to get one.

I want a new dark ride on Supercharged's land.

So, does this just extend NY now into San Francisco?

No, it wouldn’t do that.

If they used Supercharged as the station and the standing HRRR space for the ride, I imagine the ride would have to launch and exist over Mummy and the rest of the New York skyline.

And that, apart from likely being hideous, is just problematic on several levels.

Got it, I read it as this would take up some more backstage space.

Without going into specifics, that would be next to impossible. The only way to get from Supercharged to HRRR would be to go over in park buildings.

I hate water rides I have no emotional connection to dinosaurs and locations not seen in the films especially yellow broken neck ultrasaurs the dinosaurs are usually in poor shape the seats are uncomfortable and it essentially it feels like a ride designed before they knew what audiences would like about the film and it shows.

I like the look of the Raptor containment area moment. It feels like the film. But it’s brief.

Jurassic World Adventure is what I want. An indoor ride that actually feels like it’s inspired by the movie it’s based on, and with impressive animatronics, and I don’t get wet, possibly soaked.

I don’t necessarily disagree with any of this but I think it works really well as you treat the the whole land as a hypothetical sequel to Jurassic Park where it’s Hammond’s second chance to do it right. I remember thinking as a kid how cool it was to see essentially a story extension of a movie I loved so much. But I totally understand where you’re coming from.
