From someone who hasn't attended yet - my S&S strategy is to get my wristband and go see the last showing of Horror Makeup lol

If you have Express, do this. Really no point in waiting in a physical line for houses to open up.

If you don't have Express, I'd do this and then hit the back of the park.

So with two weekends in the books, are there any tips on how to maximize the new S&S this year? Is there a different plan for front and back of park?

With every house being preloaded before its official open, the effectiveness of S&S touring has been greatly diminished. It used to be once you got out of the 5:15 house you picked, you were still on an equal footing with everyone going to the 6:00 houses. That's no longer the case - now you're behind people who got in line for the 6:00 houses while you were still in line for the 5:15 one. I used to aim for four or even five quick hits during S&S, but opening weekend I only managed three.

My intuition is that the most productive use of S&S (if you don't feel like burning two hours waiting in pole position for FNAF, which I did on opening Sunday and will never bother with again) is to get in line by 4:30ish for a run through Terrifier at 5:30 -> WWE or Grave 5:45 -> El Artista as close to 6:00 as possible -> maybe make a run for Jason, though accept you'll be waiting a bit by that point. I reckon tent houses are better saved for after midnight.

Piggybacking off of the recent comments, under the new system, could a person hit FNAF first and then run across the park to the tents?

I know in past years they kept people in the NY area in that vicinity until 6ish.

Yeah the whole park is fair game.

You technically could. Only problem is FNAF is usually 1 or 2 hour + wait at opening, hitting capacity opening weekend after opening.

Yeah, I figured as much for waits so we are thinking about getting in line for it ASAP utilizing our S&S and then running as far away from that area as possible as soon as we are out.

My CURRENT understanding is that we can grab our wrist bands around 3pm, the paths back to the sound stage houses open up somewhere around 3:30-3:45pm, the path closest to Minions is the one that drops you nearer to FNAF, the queue opens around 4pm, and the house opens between 5-5:15pm.

Is that all correct or correct adjacent?

We have Express so we're definitely planning on it!

Since we have Express both nights (and Unlimited Express if available) - we're planning to just treat S&S as normal park time. Maybe hit the HHN food booths if they're open!

Oh yeah, if you have Express it's honestly a perfect opportunity to hit up some rides (E.T., MIB), see a show, get some food etc.

As for the houses, what I did opening night was hit up Hatchet and Chains when they opened the line, and I was able to chain H&C, Dolls, Fallout and Galkn with relatively low waits. Naturally Fallout and Galkn had more of a line due to already being open once I got there, but it wasn't bad.

The food is open, and it's a great time to take advantage. I walked up to the Fallout booth with no line around 5:50.
