Interesting twist to Hell Week this year -- the big local school districts all have the same in-service day ... and it's October 13, Columbus Day. For the first time in forever, the northeast feeder market and Florida will all be out of school on the same day.

Might make the Thursday before a bit more tolerable with local kids in school the next day, but October 12 is going to be a nightmare.

There schools in the south are off on Friday the 17th. So we will be going to Epic that day and HHN on the 18th.
For the past several years that Monday is usually off and we end up going to HHN on Sunday. Going on Saturday has me a bit worried. Of course I have express, so feel like I’ll be ok either way

Hey guys! As I didn’t buy my ticket for the premium night before they sold out, I have to find another night to go. Which of these nights do you think would be the least crowded?

Wed 9/3
Thu 9/4
Wed 9/10
Fri 9/26

Thanks!

Thank you. I wasn’t sure if the rush of fear nights would be more or less crowded than the first Friday that Rush of Fear passes weren’t good.

First Wednesday is usually one of the slower ones, too - as it's still early and not a weekend. The closer you get to Halloween, the busier it will get.

Additionally, with HHN starting in Hollywood, many creators will be heading over to the West Coast.

No holds barred review of the food: Do NOT waste your time or money.

Some quick hits:
- Shrimp is insanely spicy.
- Ramen Broth is too hot for midnight in a theme park & they are using undercooked 10 for a $1 ramen noodles.
- Tendies are atrocious.
- Sausage is just sausage.
- Chicken popcorn is inedible and you can easily confuse the chicken for meatballs bc it don't taste like chicken.
- The slop is decent but way too much bread for me.

I waited to purchase the FFP until today, sadly it's "sold out" for this weekend (for all FFP tiers), despite them having single day tickets available. I'll know for next year at least. I don't remember having this issue in previous years but it's possible I ordered my tickets in advanced or after opening weekend.

Edit: Found a workaround for myself. Premier still had an open reservation for tonight, and since I wasn't planning to use mine this year, I booked it as my "free ticket" for being premier. Weird that Premier reservations are nearly booked up for the whole event except for opening night, and yet opening weekend is "sold out" for FFP.

What are the alleged opening times of the houses?

In the past the app has listed them, but I have yet to see them on there.

The ramen is hot, but I would totally get it again. I thought it was delicious. Walking taco was also very tasty.

The parm tenders with the marinara tasted like a chicken parm to me. Probably won’t get it again but not bad.

The corn dog was meh but it wasn’t that fresh when I picked it up.

More or less, try what you want to try but you get a better meal for the prices elsewhere like minions or today cafe

During the event at some point, my fiancée really wants to take a break and eat at Citywalk, and then re-enter after.

We are going on Saturday (9/20) so I’m guessing crowds will be intense. We’re doing stay and scream and hoping to get through a bunch of houses early. I’m trying to time leaving during the worst period for waits.

Any advice on what time to go to dinner?

9pm-12am. After normal dinner time. People will eat around 6-8 so food lines everywhere will be long but after that they all head to houses. Queue times get very long and I mean very around 9-12 so I’ll recommend eating then. Let the queues die down and hit houses again after 12. At that time queues die down a lot. Unless it’s an popular house like FNAF, then it never dies down :lmao:

Any tips on how to best utilize stay and scream now that it’s free roam? Do people just start lining up for the houses they want early ?

Pretty much. If you care about getting into one of the busier houses as soon as possible (FNAF especially) get in line right at 4. The queue being covered makes it tolerable to wait
