At the Midsummer's Scream panel, it was revealed officially that tickets for the event will be going on-sale on Tuesday for General Admission to the event, Frequent Fear Passes, and the return of the VIP Experience in the form of RIP Tours.

Any Idea how the Two hour Early tickets work? My friends and I got them, is the park still open at 4 PM and we are just getting in the last two hours of normal operations?
Will you be able to stay in the park as it closes and no have to get in line again to get back in the park?

Question: Does the day/night ticket only allow park entrance after 2pm? If so, is there a ticket option that allows park entrance all day w/ HHN or would I have to buy 2 separate tickets?

Website only shows a ticket option that allows park entrance after 2 pm so I'm guessing that the only combo. If you'd like all day admission to the park then you'll most likely have to buy two tickets

I'll be attending the West coast event for the first time this year and had a couple questions that I'm hoping any regulars can answer:

-We're probably going to go with the after 2pm pass mostly to ride the backlot tour and get a jump on the crowds. Will the regular tram tour be open around that time? Does it close early to convert into the horror tram?
-I wanted to get express, but the prices are crazy for the night we're going (10/15). If we do the stay and scream starting down in the lower lot, is it possible to see most of the mazes w/o front of the line or is it crucial?

I feel like paying $115 for the after 2pm ticket vs $199 for front of the line w/o early admission makes more sense value wise. We're okay missing a few houses if it means doing the day tram and wizarding world instead. Thanks in advance.

Just curious, what is the RIP Halloween Haunted Tour like? Last month we did the regular VIP tour and had a blast. I'm interested in HHN, but don't want to deal with the crowds. My bf and I are open to doing the RIP tour, but wonder if it's worth it since the park is not open the same amount of hours as during the day

Yea... what the hell? I hadn't had a chance to really look at it until recently... The fact that it does NOT include opening weekend is all kinds of messed up.

Its really annoying (and total BS) that they DON'T give us the first two weekends, but did that "pre-sale" thing. I would've totally bought a ticket for one of those nights had I known they wouldn't be included with the FFP.

I feel like the same monkeys they have in charge of the annual passes (you know, since they keep changing that stuff every few months) were in charge of this year's tickets as well.

Not sure if it'll be the same this year as it was the last year it was available, but back in 2014 the guided tour took us down to the three backlot mazes and they sent us through there, then they escorted us up to the terror tram. There's no word if the tour will feature a cool exclusive part of the tour, like in 2013 they brought you down to amity island and had an Insidious themed experience that was insanely cool. But if this is your first time going to HHN I definitely recommend RIP. It's not very similar to the day time VIP tour since there they get to take you to behind the scenes places but with this tour they just guided us to the backlot mazes and terror tram. If you can find your way around USH easily and can look at a map to find out where everything is for HHN, you shouldn't have a problem doing RIP but skipping the guided tour. When you buy the passes it'll tell you to select a tour time so you can do that, but you'll get the RIP passes before the event starts so if you're in the lounge when they call for your tour time to start, you can simply just ignore them or even go out and leave to the mazes before Your tour time. Hope this helps!

So while I was looking at the FFP dates again... which does nothing but annoy me

Its still ridiculous that we don't get opening weekend included like last year, but i find it odd they'd rather give us Friday Oct 20th & 27th, instead of the first two sundays Oct 1st & 8th. And honestly, if they are going to give us a Friday, i'd much rather have the 13th!!! :frustrated"
