I would absolutely be down for a Vanity Ball house, there's a lot of potential there. (Plus another fab soundtrack!)

I too, am lamenting what seems like no Resident Evil on the map...but I also can't help but notice it seems like there's no more Heavy Metal Hell on the map either. Which makes the Dance Macabre clue all the more intriguing, since Heavy Metal Hell wouldn't be used if we have a GHOST house which would fulfill the metal theme in spades. Plus, I can absolutely see how rumors initially led to Heavy Metal Hell...when it could actually be a GHOST house. Metal and Hell are absolutely that bands M.O.

I am also quite happy still seeing the Pins a la' Hellraiser!
As for the burning book, Evil Dead Burn?

Finally, the paw print. I am genuinely hoping that is Canine/Lupine and not feline. Because unless they have a truly killer concept for it...a house of Cat Lady on Crooked Lane would be a total waste just a year after we experienced the all-timer of a zone. I want themes I haven't seen in a while, not stuff that's still fresh in my memory from last year.

Cat lady’s lore will be expanded though, after all a witch needs help from a Halloween God after all.

Also disappointed in what looks like the loss of Resident Evil. I also immediately thought of Evil Dead Burn with the book on fire for the IT replacement. Not a IT fan but like Scream it seems to make the conversation rounds every year and would like for both to happen just to have them behind us haha. As for Vanity Ball and Lady Gaga speculations I think they would have to pick one cause they would be too similar in my book. I adored Vanity Ball as a zone thought it was fabulous but I don't understand how that would work as a house, that feels like it should stay just as a zone in my mind.

For one, we don't know that yet. And personally, I don't need an expanded lore of a witch who turns kids into cats. The zone fulfilled what I wanted from the character, and that's perfectly fine.

I’m really intrigued by this version of the speculation map(minus Stranger Things. Not impressed there). I really hope that we do see Vanity Ball turn into a house as that is one of my personal favourite scarezones I’ve ever done.

And I hope Fast & Furious Tent has something to do with H.R. Bloodenguts as his house from 2011 is my number one wayback house.

I’m not really seeing any clues on Resident Evil here so that’s upsetting for me

I loved the Zoo at Knott’s last year so I am definitely interested to see how HHN tackles this concept if they are doing it. I think it would be kind of neat if they set it in Australia

I heard from a rumor it’s going to be about survivors in a deadite Apocalypse. Trying to stay alive

And no it’s not going to be set in a cabin or high rise. The facade has me intrigued what’s it going to be.

Honestly, it's fun to have a spec season where the IP lineup is still mostly unknown in Feb. Not that anything is ever locked in with early spec, but I wouldn't be surprised if Resident Evil fell through due to timing with the new film. As for Evil Dead, I'll believe it when I see it after Rise got delayed from a summer release and had its house scrapped late into construction.

It would be pretty funny if the Evil Dead franchise just becomes the standard WB make-good for when one of their IPs fall through. First Rise for HBO's Last of Us in 2022, then Burn for IT in 2026, then I suppose Wrath for Conjuring or something in 2027.

I am still holding onto the rumor that the paw print could be “Scary Tales: Big Bad Wolves” or at least some “Werewolf” original.

Also the depressed Killer Klowns fan in me (depressed meaning I never got a chance to do any of the houses/scarezone) is hoping that they make some sort of comeback wether it be a in house or zone, but I am very much aware that it’s just wishful thinking at this point.
