Squid Game is maybe a step too far for HHN but a Squid Game house - timed with that absurd Fincher movie version that's supposedly happening, perhaps - would be a great attraction for Fan Fest.

You haven't watched Wednesday? It's actually really good. It's amusing and with just enough creepy to be entertaining. It does kind of make me think that if early Harry Potter and Hunger Games had a baby.. that would be the storylines. But, still, worth watching. Your turn to trust me, my friend. I watched all of Fallout on your recommendation and passion for it, remember?

Squid Games would make ZERO SENSE. I'd be kinda po'd actually if that showed up. What a waste of a house.

Not to sound like that guy who constantly tries to justify an Iron Maiden house, but I don't believe for one second that Stranger Things isn't happening.

Didn't we go down this same road a few years ago? Where insiders said no Stranger Things, spec maps had no Stranger Things, there were dozens of pages on the forums discussing what possibly happened to sour the Netflix collaborations....and then we got another Spec Map like the same day as the Stranger Things announcement and SURPRISE it's at the event. I might have conflated a few things together as my memory isn't the best and I'm too lazy to research what I'm saying, but I have a VERY strong sense of deja vu where we're being told it's not coming and rushing to find other Netflix properties that could replace it, just for it to all be for naught.

If they didn't have it, would I be disappointed? Sorta...wouldn't be too sad about missing the house as I'd probably only go through it twice, but would really miss the guaranteed 3 hour lines soaking up a ton of crowd every night while my group does everything else the event has to offer.

This is pretty much how I feel. I don't think the final season has enough material that can translate into a standalone house just based on scale alone, and the last few episodes before the finale really soured my opinion of the season.

I do think if the four other widely speculated IPs all pan out, IT will be the 3-4 hour behemoth every night. It won't be like last year where FNAF crowds in the second half of the night cooled a bit while Terrifier stayed consistently long. I would hope whatever the fifth IP that takes up a soundstage can take some weight off IT (if Sinners comes and gets into a soundstage instead of a tent like currently speculated, maybe that alleviates IT a little?).

I think folks just read into one of the logos in a tent location on the spec map as connecting relatively easily to Sinners, but not sure if it was anything more substantive than that

If there’s a reboot or a remake and the General audiences loved it, also popular it will come. For now no, It’s not part of the decision.
