There *was* actually an f-bomb in Hollywood's version of Blumhouse vol 2, during the Unfriended section - one of the characters says "stop f*****g around." This seems unintentional, however.

I can confirm this was an oversight. It was determined that going back in to redo the track was more trouble than it was worth.

Yeah I sorta figured lol. It seemed likelier than Universal deciding Unfriended was the property where they could stretch the limits.

The closest thing I can personally remember is the smoking Gandalf (during one of the Bill and Teds coinciding with The Hobbit films)? He may have been holding something resembling a bong, and he definitely emerged from the show facade coughing with heavy fog effects.

I never recall an f-bomb at HHN (even bleeped them in the Chucky queue video). Hard-pressed to think of drug references, too, which is a very necessary part of Ted's schtick. Maybe a wink and a nod in B&T, but I can't recall anyone even having prop paraphernalia on stage.

Mid-aughts Bill and Teds winked a little more about drugs than in the end. The 2005 show had Willie Nelson and Batman’s Scarecrow. Their exchange was centered around drugs, but nothing too explicit that I recall.

I am still curious if that Harold and Kumar show was ever actually a possibility they were discussing, or just something some one randomly made up lol

The way they did that was through censoring with sound effects. It was something noticable with Hollywood, and noticable with Orlando too.

Hollywood had more censors too I think, because the script was more extensive for us due to the additional VO.

J Jonah Jameson also gets his f-bomb censored on Spider-Man every time I ride.

“Was that Spider-Man? That no good (static)’n red leotard wearing…”

I mean, where would they put Ted anyways? Horror Make-Up so they can warn people off?

I know Knott’s moved their foul mouthed Hanging show to their more enclosed theater so that people had to actually make an effort to see it rather than just running across it by mistake and being offended.

Technically they can use Bourne for VERY simple show setups. It just can’t have a hard reset to not interfere with normal day operations.

Is that true? ISTR the conversation last speculation season was that there was too little space back stage with the Bourne set pieces and live weapons…

They could probably do it, but again, it'd have to be a very simple setup with basically no set - or if there's a set, something that can be wheeled off and stored somewhere other than Bourne's backstage.

I think Horror Makeup Show makes more sense as a venue, though.

...Didn't the redo work for that just get kicked down the road?

For some reason I remember one of the rumors being that because there would be live firearms stored there, anyone working the show would have to be trained and pass some test, even if they weren’t being used in the show. At least, I think that was the gist of the concern.

And the HMUS getting its redo paused is one reason why I thought it could go in that space. Not sure how big of a draw a Ted show would be, but unless he’s hosting a variety show (which I could admittedly see) I think a smaller stage would suit him better.
