I wholeheartedly support this. DCC was absolutely gorgeous this year!


Was this popular enough to warrant a house two years after release? It doesn't have very good ratings.


I could see Black Phone 2 if for no other reason than Uni seems very attached to that property lol. that and Stranger Things are the only two "speculations" I have (vs just plain wishful thinking). Wouldn't be surprised by an Oddfellow and/or Jack thing. Would like to see Oddfellow come back, but I don't personally find Jack interesting. Oddfellow has a cool vibe though that I feel they could still do a lot with, especially if they go all in with zodiac stuff.

Curious to see developments in rumors. Am I correct that the only two true rumors right now are Hellraiser and Ozzy? If those come to fruition, I'll definitely have some homework this year. Never seen Hellraiser and I think I know a whopping 2 Ozzy songs (I live under a rock, leave me alone lol)

2 Ozzy songs? My friend, you are missing out on one of the greatest frontmen of rock. I would recommend "doing homework" NOW even if this turns out to be a rumor and doesn't happen, your life will be better with Ozzy in it.

The Blizzard of Oz is his most well-known album, but outside of that, Diary of a. Madman and No More Tears are my absolute favorite Ozzy albums.

Agree, but I also LOVED Ordinary Man. Brilliant work.. Only Ozzy could manage to use the word "defecate" in a song and make it work. HAHAHAH!!

It hasn’t been brought up here yet, but Legacy has said on Discord that there’s a Heavy Metal Hell rumor going around and it looks like HNN has heard it too. Not sure where that leaves the Ozzy rumor, maybe a potential Heavy Metal Hell house would feature some Ozzy and Black Sabbath music?

The rumor that Legacy put out was that it would be Heavy Metal Hell with a score done by Ice Nine Kills, similar to how Hollywood does the houses with Slash. Mixed feelings about this one tbh.

No… I said on discord there is a rumor Ice Nine Kills is scoring an original house, and that the leading theory is that it could be a Heavy Metal Hell house.

Along the lines of inaccuracies... Do we think they would actually do an Ozzy house and a house set to a score by INK in the same year or is it more that there's a rumor about a house set to music by a heavy metal artist? Wondering if maybe these 2 rumors are actually just one house that is having a game of telephone played about it.

Okay.., this Ice Nine Kills/Heavy Metal Hell rumor has me more excited. INK are one of my favourite bands and I’ve been wanting a house or scarezone involving them since 2018. Heavy Metal Hell was one of my favourite portions of Slaughter Sinema 2, so if this were to happen with INK’s music as the soundtrack, I would be ecstatic. I know not a lot of people in the HHN community care for INK but this is a “white whale” house for me

I’m starting to get the feeling Ozzy could be a Hollywood exclusive, but regardless I think a “Prince of Darkness: A Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne” with more industrial aesthetics can pair with a “Heavy Metal Hell 3D: Ice Nine Kills” with more organic, natural aesthetics, complementing more than contradicting each other. Especially if one leans honorable and serious and the other is more comedy.

HHN literally did Evil Dead and Cabin in the Woods the same year. It was weird, but it worked.

There was a ton of thematic doubling-up at this year's event too! Two Weird West gunslinger settings (Fallout, H&C), and three children's entertainment worlds gone sour (Dolls, Firefly Funhouse, FNAF, and actually even parts of Terrifier played in that same space). It can work as long as the houses are distinct in other ways!

Making a Heavy Metal Hell house fully 3D would be a good way to differentiate it; I finally did bring my own anaglyph glasses into Slaughter Sinema on the last night of 33 and just the one room looked so cool, I'd love to experience a whole house like that even if for modern ops they had to make it BYOG.
