If nothing anniversary-related happens for 35, I won't be very bummed myself.

As someone who is able to make the trip to HHN very seldomly but is hoping to go next year after having not been since 2019, I could go either way with regards to Icons and whether or not they'd appear. On one hand it'd be really cool to see something like Jack in person but on the other I wouldn't be upset if they were more original creations spread through the event.

That said I would murder for The Director to get a glow up akin to Jack. (Though the chances of that happening are all but zero but a man can dream!)

I line up pretty well with this - I've been attending since 2016 but missed 2021 - therefore I've never seen any of the classic icons (Jack, Usher, Director, etc). So it would be cool to see some of them in person.

But 2021 also looked like it leaned WAY too hard into "anniversary", and it looked slightly annoying lol

I just saw that Insidious 6 is set up for an August 2026 release. I know we just had it at the event, but it drew big crowds and strong reviews. It might be worth keeping in mind.

Maybe, but If they don’t do the Allison storyline and it ends poorly. That’s up to speculation for another time. But Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 looks really creepy. I think they’ll keep that one for the sequel.

I realize these codenames are probably meaningless, and shouldn't be overanalyzed, but if we're merely looking at them at face value for fun...

Train in Soundstage 24B could potentially be Ozzy Osbourne if that rumor is true, given his hit song "Crazy Train".

Balloon in Soundstage 22 brings to mind FNAF2, since balloons can be found in the pizzeria, and Balloon Boy will have a bigger presence in the film.

But as I mentioned, I wouldn't read into these that deeply...

Nah, 2024's permits were around this time IIRC.

Also not to damper but don't forget that codenames usually don't mean anything, and even then when they do, it's (usually) not clear until after the fact.

I did say *usually* not clear. Heck, S'mores was obviously Frozen Empire from the beginning. I'm still saying, though, that most codenames won't be super obviously clear like that. Plus, it's still November, Ozzy isn't 100% definitive (and of course, nothing is until it's official).

To clarify, my post was not aimed at yours at all. If anything I think I missed your post. If it came across as antagonistic, I apologize as again I didnt even see your post.

But that’s an interesting thought. I agree that absolutely nothing is definitive and this is not a “lock” by any means. Just stating that the possibility of an Ozzy house looks pretty good for now at least.
