Sadly this is for HHNH and not Orlando. Think are mask was already showen at the UK event.

Wouldn't be surprised though if it's a Terrifier situation where while most are masked, there's one or two like this that are prosthetic.

I've seen them building a temporary structure next to SS 25, presumable for queue space for SS24?, I've also heard that SS 25 and part of SS21 will be used as queue, but they will also have to use the music plaza for queue as well... I was unable to attend last year's event; how did they have the queues set up? Do we think that there will be walkways next to SS33? Last I looked there was still a lot of dirt being moved around that part of the construction zone for FFHD... (not much more to speculate on other than queue set up).
Also, if they are going to use music plaza, that will suck for 2 pm houses....

To answer the questions.

Yes, there is a tent being built outside of SS25 for queue space. I also would not be surprised if they somehow used SS25 for space as well considering there's two houses back in SS24. Last year, the queue for Terrifier (SS25) was directly outside where the tent is being built. And for Grave of Flesh (SS24), they were using the other half of SS24 that wasn't being used. The queues for SS24 this year are probably the queues that'll be different compared to last year.

There will be no walkways by SS33, that area is completely off limits due to construction.

SS21 has been used as a queue for the past several years, and it'll be the same this year for Evil Dead Burn.
Stranger Things will have its queue in SS20.

And the music plaza has permits for a tent or two to be built once they're done with the refurb of that area.

Not sure who the Twitter poster is, but Nikki from Obsession was just revealed to be a roaming character at Hollywood. Not sure if connected to this, or what the relevance is to Orlando though (if any)

Skipper Hoss if I recall correctly works with A&D often on merchandising lines and on the tribute stores, and is actively one of the biggest vocal members of seasonal teams.

Can be corrected but when I think of modern seasonal tribute content made for the events, Skipper comes to mind for Orlando.

I’m very curious to see if they decide to bring her here. What I will say is that, while I try not to be negative and I’m pretty open minded about just about everything that could possibly come to HHN, I don’t see how this works out well from an execution stance, and I don’t think I ever would’ve guessed this to be an actual thing, regardless of how well the movie performed.

I’ll be out in Hollywood a bit this year so I’m willing to wait and give a real opinion after, and if it comes here to Orlando that’s awesome too, but when I think of a roaming character…. I just don’t see any iconography in Nikki. Art the Clown works because even if you haven’t seen the films, Scary/funny walk around clown just works well as an interactive character. Heck, any of the IPs this year could really work as having a walk around character. But again, I just don’t see how Obsession could work at the event, and I’m not sure if Nikki as a walk around character would’ve been the way I brought it necessarily. Girl in normal clothes with some blood on her just doesn’t seem to really be “iconic” unless it’s the OG actress. But again, I’m just thinking out loud.

Plenty truly don't think of her as such sadly, it's a complex conversation to have. Not everything popular has to make its way to HHN, will be interested how it turns out.

I agree with you, but my bigger concern is how to even get to “easy win for clips on socials”. I’ve seen the movie, and even after watching it, if I didn’t know going into the event that Nikki was there, and someone was dressed as her (meaning… normal outfit with a bit of blood on her face) I just don’t see how that becomes an “identifiable” character. I get it for making popular, if it was a character you could do that with. I just don’t see how costuming gets her to be identifiable.

Edit: Sorry, tried to quote & internet connection was not having it. I...really dislike the idea of Nikki being a walkable scary "icon" when she's a victim. Having her, I don't know, be bloody and threatening to random guests is completely besides the point and intent of the movie.

I don't know how she'll be presented, but it just doesn't seem right to me.

What if she’s just in that character M&G area over by Mel’s?

To me that offers pictures, light interactions, and easier to control the guests

Though admittedly getting her to and from the backstage area could still be an issue

If it were me, I would (assuming it is possible) put her near the parade gate by HMUS on a stage for easy entrance/exit

Right now there’s no confirmation that she’s coming to Orlando as well. She very well may be and not advertised, if Skipper Hoss was alluding to her coming, but right now it’s just Hollywood confirmed.

We are getting Art back this year, just not in a roaming capacity

And, just because Hollywood is getting a roaming character, doesn’t mean Orlando is

I think you can have Nikki in Orlando, just have her staged/safe
