I'm too dumb to quote your response with all the answers (maybe it's too big? Won't let me do it) but wanted to joke that I'm sure HoH is going to run with a story that a verified insider explicitly told them that Evil Dead is NOT coming this year...even after it was announced.

But also wanted to be so greedy as to ask a third question:

With Terrifier (and past IPs like KKFOS, The Walking Dead, American Horror Story, etc) was there a multi-year licensing agreement signed? Always curious when IPs show up multiple years in a row if it's a start from the beginning process (with some shortcuts due to established relationships/trust/etc) with Universal proposing what they want to do that specific year, or if sometimes they agree on a multi-year deal.

I think people heard of a zone with a lot of clowns and some chatter got overexcited. I can’t say anything more than that as I’m not sure what other ideas there were for the zone.

Each IP is different but I don’t know specifics to say what the Terrifier agreement was. It’s possible it was a one-off and they extended due to its success, or it was multi-year.

Nope. There was only one delay this year… ST.

Preview merch is always different than regular merch. I’m sure there will be some great stuff coming out later. Remember, it takes two to tango with agreements.

This! I make my initial hotel reservations in November right when the previous event ends. I almost always find a better rate later as the event gets closer.

Second this strategy for the exact opposite reason. I booked my stay at Sapphire Falls from 9-9 to 9-14 back in January for about $189 a night, and now that same room is going for $328 even with AP discount. I have been seeing rates at other properties falling though for those dates, especially Stella Nova and Terra Luna. Not a great location for HHN, but I do like both of those resorts.
