Can we not think about when I'm going to be 58 please and thank you. I still want to feel somewhat young for just a bit longer xD

Pretty stoked about Hatchet and Chains. As soon as I walked through SS2 I was thinking this HAD to be a hosue!

You know what Im NOT stoked about? my exact stay at Cabana Bay from last year is now $470 more this year. That is completely insane. I know its Epics fault but godd@mn are they trying to pay off the new park in 1 year?

Prices can fluctuate throughout the summer. I'd continue to check to see if there are any rate drops before your visit.

Yeah I was about to say this. We booked our HHN opening hotel way later in the cycle than this last year because we ended up getting Dockside for like, $85 a night on passholder rate.

Plus - you can always book early and then rebook if the price drops. I've done that countless times, all you have to do is call

I will not admit how often my group does this every year. Nor how often I recheck the rates. Lol.

But it works.

Check the rates online often and call to change to the cheaper rates. I did that a few times already and saved a lot this year! And I’ll keep looking to save more!!

I do this ever year and every year I save a lot. Might be a few dollars everytime but keep doing it and it adds up.

Just to add - I literally just did this, spent five minutes, and saved $100.

I'm usually the booker, so I just always keep a tab open and check every now and then. Not religiously, but people would be shocked at how often the rates fluctuate in a DAY let alone a week/month, etc

Oddly enough though, this is the first year for me where the price has only gone UP the closer we get.

Yeah. We booked our hotel for this year the day we checked out last year … and have yet to beat that price. But I’m still checking often. I have not seen the same level of fluctuation as in previous years, personally.

They have gone up a lot I noticed, more so then past years. But they have gone down some also. One day a while ago I looked and they went down a lot. Sadly since then they have gone back up.

Yeah we've been making this trip for a long time. We kinda know all the tricks and its always a little higher, but I was shocked at what it started off as! Hopefully it comes down and I can re-book. I love CB and dont wanna get priced out.

Side note.... does anyone know if WalMart or any other grocery store delivers to onsite resorts? Id like to NOT rent a car this year to save a few bucks.

They do but you got to meet them down in the lobby. The hotel won’t hold anything, specifically if it’s cold.

ok cool. We usually rent a car just to get us from teh airport, to walmart for food, to the hotel. Then back to the airport. Would like to save some money on the rental now that prices are getting silly.

Between this and Fallout there's more of a western theme emerging than a gothic theme. The scare zones are gonna have to hard carry that cohesive vibe they're chasing.

There's one that I have my concerns about how well it fits the theming. The rest all sound like they can be crafted in the right direction
