In the past years of going, the cast member thing I mentioned, I've seen it around 4 times, but they were pretty bad, (one of them seemed to be a manager or a supervisor or something from their clothing and badge and stuff) . It would have left a pretty bad memory if I couldn't repeat.

I would never say anything about it or anything at the event, and I was always spoiled with a frequent fear pass so I can just repeat the houses,
But the hugging and the cheering, if that was my only time visiting, it would have been pretty sad.
Not only because the scares were spoiled, but you couldn't really see their costumes.

I can understand that people love their friends or their casts, I can understand having some fun and bringing some joy to the casts, I can understand that the scare actor job can be hard, but it was pretty bad to experience.
It goes back to what I was saying about your enjoyment of something hurting someone else. About the wwe fans lol

I’d be pissed beyond belief if I went to a play and the actors broke character to chat up their friends in the front row of the audience. I’d be pissed if a musician/band only played to and acknowledged their superfans during a set. You can bet I’m going to complain if a guest pulls this and interrupts the show. I’m already pissed at the Vamp ‘xx scareactors in years past on their phones and hanging with their friends instead of scaring.

I don’t mean this in a “dance monkey dance!” way. But there is a time and place for these activities and selfish guests who need to let everyone know “I know that person we’re besties!” ruin things for everyone else.

Mental Acuity = sharpness of the mind, relating to the intelligence of an individual. I think the term your looking for is neurodivergent?

I'm not trying to dump gas on the fire because your heart's in the right place but THIS is why proofreading is important.

No one's getting any backlash for a spelling mistake or a misplaced comma. If a post made is linguistically incomprehensible, the responsibility doesn't fall to the audience.

A better topic of focus would be forum etiquette and the ability to edit posts.

Do you realize how inappropriate it is to speculate on someone's neurodivergence or lackthereof, or their mental condition in general?

The user edited their post after I asked them to please proofread. The post in question was literally indecipherable in its original incarnation. The edit made it readable, which I sincerely appreciated, and yes, that does need to be the minimum standard we have for posting here.

I wouldn't think it happens too often and god knows that actors deal with a lot of negative stuff and that the job is hard, I understand that, they try to do a great job which they do.
But my friend reminded me of this also happening in the scarezones from time to time lol with the vamp zones having some pretty bad examples lol.
