My experience with Saturday was not busy at all. It was busier than Friday but not much. Highest wait I saw was 45 min for last of us at the peak of the night. Everything was an average 20 min wait all night.

Not ridiculously busy, but enough to still profit from event ticket sales/food/etc.

Quietly leaks that Brian planned to release it at 15:00PM, outside of the 24 hour timeframe region to cast the speculations to the void

For a lot of guests, sure it's an artificial positive to wait less than what you were initially told... but the issue with exaggerated waits is Disability Access Pass users are negatively impacted. If TLOU is listed 120, but only 60, they're essentially being told to wait outside the house (or somewhere else) for 90-110 minutes before being allowed to join the express line. For TLOU, the express was bad this year and would typically average 20ish minutes or so. So a DAP user could end up waiting 2x as much as a standby guest would. DAP shouldn't give you immediate access, but it also shouldn't penalize guests by making them wait much longer than they really should.

This is a legitimate problem and one worth addressing. I can agree that we shouldn't see exaggerations nearly as bad as TLoU had this year ever again, if only for this reason. I've seen firsthand that some of these houses are pretty often avoided by DAP users if only because they can't do much of anything else while they wait out the clock.

I'll say that most times that my friends used the pass, it was still quite a bit shorter of a wait than posted, and usually still saved time overall. It is absolutely still an issue and Operations, especially for DAP users, was especially messy this year. There were Ops TM's for some SS houses that would speed through a giant crowd of people leaving the DAP guests requesting escort in automatic scooters with not a ton of path forward. My group was fine overall, but I definitely think it's gotta be addressed at some point cause I'm sure some other groups probably had a much more difficult time than needed. There's also a lot of walking involved with most DAP paths, more than I'd say you'd have to do with regular stand-by queueing honestly. Not even mentioning the new fleet of Handheld Scanners that never worked the entire run. Lots of wasted time, and a lot of "You guys are good, go ahead and head forward"'s when they refused to scan properly. I definitely hope there is some tightening up with all of that next year.

Not to mention that the house exits (specifically ET and Sprung Tents) are not built to accommodate large groups of people, let alone ECVs & wheelchairs comfortably.

I'm really hoping DreamWorks will alleviate some issues next year.

I know a lot of people seemed to have had issues with operations this year, but wow we should all be feeling a little more grateful after seeing how Disney's first Christmas upcharge event at DHS went last night. This event could be an absolute disaster any given year but Universal does seem to understand guests actually need a good number of things to do to keep it worth the price, and thankful they deliver even though we missed out on a lagoon show this year. Hats off to operations as always of course too, the fact they do a well as they do is nothing short of a miracle.

I don't know if there's a better thread for this question, but I've been going to my favorite HHN podcasts for season end recaps/final reviews, and not a lot posted. Any recommendations? Trying to extend this fun season as much as possible lol

Last year it was Exorcist, this year I'd imagine it to likely be Ghostbusters.

I would imagine it is AQP this year. I say that bc I think it’s going to be a high tech house and they will want to keep some secrets.
