Notable words are “seven,” and “Teeth” so far. Tryna figure out the rest. “Mesengher” looks like it could be “messenger.”

See, now this would be a way to do a B&T show that is as innocent as it can really get and still seems like it would be funny. Probably more funny than a lot of the later B&Ts at the very least.

That was always my thought. It’s multi-generational, can be very meta, and hits on current pop culture in a way that wouldn’t necessarily feel pandering and immediately outdated. Shoot, you could mine a gauntlet of SNL pairs (Wayne and Garth, Wild and Crazy Guys, Body builders, Tina and Amy, Spartan Cheerleaders) that just consistently get knocked out of the competition. Eventually, after Rick asks, “Where the hell are all of these outdated, SNL rejects coming from,” it’s revealed that the show’s villain is the pair of Synergy and Legal who are actively trying to replace Bill and Ted because “They’re too damn expensive.”

Come on… instant all-timer.

Eh… Jack is incredibly one-note by his very design. His personality is a riff on Freddy Krueger. If he’s your “comedy” element, you’re painting yourself into a corner of strictly taunts and puns as your only source of humor. While that works well for a ten-minute show I can walk away from at anytime, I’m far less interested in sitting and watching that for a half hour.

And I think, more than anything, that was one of the reasons B&T worked and why it started to fall apart. The speed at which pop culture cycles through stuff means there’s never any time for something to develop depth. Older pop culture did, which opened more opportunities for a wider variety of comedy from a wider variety of characters.

Just think about the use of Garfield in 2004 versus Honey Badger in 2011. They were both lead characters in their years, presented identically—human faced furries. But Garfield had a wealth of history to rely on and reference (lasagna, Mondays, the Puss and Boots gag) where Honey Badger’s only bit was “not giving a s___.”

I guess the best way to explain what I'm looking for them to do is a take on the Absinthe show in Las Vegas...Jack and Chance would be the host in-between the legit circus acts

The mix would allow Jack to be "funny" without it getting tiring

When I saw the show in Vegas I was like "HHN could easily do something like this"

I would post it here, but it has adult language, but it's a great show and freaking hillarious
