I have to assume part of the reason Jurassic World will be closed (right?) is they need the queue space/entryway to facilitate access to Dead Deader Deadest.

I would assume so. They had it open last year with the Wyatt Sicks maze back there, but maybe it was too chaotic. It did feel a little confusing and claustrophobic through that space.

Right. As I recall, pretty much everyone agreed that line setup was a nightmare.

UTH tours will take place during day ops, when Kung Fu Panda will be open and operating. Again, I think this will be entirely back-of-house stuff.

I wish they'd have a change of heart with the issues they're running into with F&F and open JW instead. I don't know how much that diverts crowds, but it's always amazing to cool off a little in the early part of the season.

But also....even if the Tram is packed another show and the WW stage being used with something that fills it up is just a good thing for the event, I get the team doesn't care about shows, cool hire someone who does

Six Flags with its no real budget is investing in shows and think its paying off

I don't disagree that the event could use another show, but where are you going to put it? Dreamworks Theater is the only real option available right now, and it presents numerous and significant logistical challenges (no real back-of-house space for live performers and the need to pivot to and from normal day ops). I do think the anime ports were probably the platonic ideal.

This speaks to a larger issue with the park: Losing the Castle Theater has left USH without a robust flex venue. Imagine if we had Jabbowockeez (or an equivalent) and Purge running!

I don't disagree that the event could use another show, but where are you going to put it? I demand we take the back lot back for mazes, including the walkthrough side-maze along the way. Then we build a temporary stage in the Curious George lot for a show, along with a beer garden and food trucks. Problems solved!

I'd love that....to see what the Tonic Tunnel could become now as well

Thats not a bad idea but I think because the backlot is sooo busy it would be a Miracle if we ever get houses there again

Toxic Tunnel can totally be a mini Backrooms hallway. Have Still Lives walk through scaring guests, yellow lighting, wallpaper, and creepy ambiance and it'd probably be better!

Its part of the reason why 2019 was my favorite year of HHN until last year

It was the end of an era with some great houses and also....man we didn't know what we had with the BTTF attraction. IF they ever top that....I'd be very impressed

I mentioned this reeeeally early in the spec thread, but if they're able to nab SS 12 again for next year, they can comfortably fit two SS 19(?) houses into that space, as well as queue and overflow AND a break area for the scareactors. They can also have a little space for a seating area, beer stand, and food truck.

Maybe some other time I'll post it when I have some spare time, but I don't want to get this thread derailed.
