Yeah, that's not okay. They need to come up with another solution. People absolutely purchased Express with the advertised benefit of being able to access the coaster at night.

Hearing if people call customer service that they will be able to get refunds if they feel violated. Incredibly scummy, hoping they get a bunch of blowback.

Ohhh that’s rough on Facebook someone claimed they talked to customer service and was told “that if you bought the pass you’d get to still go on fast and furious”

Guess they lied or the TM miss spoke.universal should make an official statement to clarify

Does anyone here have a ticket purchased that said it would grant access but no longer does? I’d be curious to look at the terms and services to see if it’s included.

Wow that is unfortunate. Could it be that it’s just a misprint online and somehow it got removed?

If it's only RIP, won't that be a trickle of people through the night during it's open time? We can only hope that if they get to a point they're confident the ride is ready for HHN, they can backtrack. But it still really sucks what they've done.

I have RIP for one of my nights, I'll consider it a bonus if I get a ride. Never done a VIP tour during the day, contemplating giving that a go on a free day, maybe I'll get a ride then too.

I mean what also sucks about this is now 1,000 of guests who would be waiting for the ride are going to be in line for houses slowing those lines down

Its just overall a a somewhat big lose with repercussions outside getting screwed for buying early

Things the biggest causality. Those 1,000-ish people lined up for F&F would have made a difference with the lines for the houses. So much for the new roller coaster being a crowd suck.

I also just called, they said even if the ticket was bought before you no longer have access to the coaster and they would transfer me to someone if I wanted to see about getting a refund

The issue even with refunds is what if RIP is sold out on the night you can go, for me its like whatever I'm a local and will just wait for Grinchmas to see it at night time

Also its just fun that RIP tickets went up in price right before they announced this, just.....god USH loves its fans so much. lol

I really hope they also didn't sell more tickets per day this year assuming the coaster would suck some of these people up. I just really and hoping crowds aren't too affect but I assume most rides will see smaller bumps in people then they would have if the coaster was open because it would just mean less people using expresses on houses are now going to make general lines move even slower along with Purge being back and unless a miracle happens that show is not eating many people either because of just lack of interest. I really hope Dreamworks has something people wants so we have something helping eat up people a little

Also hoping Murdy has some really cool things to announce this weekend to help wash down this bad taste from corporate

Fair to say that many justifiably assumed "subject to change" referred to the hours of operation, not availability in its entirety.

I get that they're realizing the coaster can't process all of the Express guests in the time it's likely to be open during the event (which is its own major problem), but one, the theoretical ride capacity wasn't a surprise, and two, when you backtrack like this, it's good service to make it up to your customers willing to shell out for the premium experience. This "you should've read the fine print" shrug of a response is a terrible look.

...and I'm saying that as someone who's 1) already been on the ride and 2) is attending on a RIP tour! I'm not affected!

I wonder how much of this has to do with operating the ride at full capacity until midnight every night when they haven't solved the noise issues bleeding into the neighborhoods. It's one thing to do it throughout the day, but extending it to midnight right out of the gates will inevitably lead to some bad PR for USH.
