It's not even Fan Fest yet....Once its June then I'll want more info but I'm good. We have an entire event, that even has attractions not announced yet...lol and then the coaster. One thing at a time

This is a good point. Orlando doesn’t have a new ride opening this year and the Epic hype was died down some.

We have a major roller coaster opening up fairly soon so I don’t think we’ll be getting an announcement super soon.

I will say I think the most logical first house to announce should be Sinners.

Unless I'm misremembering, last year they didn't start announcing stuff until late. Feels like Universal really wants to let all of their seperate seasonal events (Fan Fest -> Mega Movie Summer -> Horror Nights -> Grinchmas) have room to breathe. Kind of miss the days when we had announcements trickled out bit by bit all year.

Scream was never a IP I have had on the Grinch Maps. I’d presume the same for HNN.

I would not put stock to them. I think that is HoH purposefully putting out a fake rumor as I have never heard Texas in any form of circulation from the past few months.

Anyone telling otherwise is trying to spin a yarn, one that doesn’t work.

Casting shade for two IPs at the moment, something doesn’t sit right with me on Evil Dead Burn and Ozzy Osbourne.

We’re 4 months out from Burn, a hotly anticipated horror film that continues the anthology approach to Evil Dead, and we still have yet to get a trailer. Have to wonder if that is a sign of hesitance in the product they have, especially considering it is an established IP. Also have to think logically, I’d rather wait it out for when you can then do Rise, Burn, and Wrath all at the same time. Maximize the amount you have.

As for Ozzy, something feels right. The turnaround for Murdy and Aiello to do something with Ozzy, especially in a sensitive time where people would be mourning and weeping over the rock legend, makes me hesitate in wondering if the estate would be even willing to humor something like this. Consider it me wondering on sensitivity concerns that the estate might not be so keen to let them have their way for a bit.

I wouldn't necessarily take that as a sign. Rise had its full release on April 21st, 2023, with its first trailer on January 4th, so barely three and a half months before it came out. If they're following the same marketing pattern, I'd expect the trailer for Burn here within the next few weeks, but if we're somehow in May without a trailer, then that would definitely be weird.

I recently saw the movie and think the IP will become a house this year. The facade would be a house if they choose this film specifically.
