Sorry to be behind, what is the indication in Murdy's seventh treatment that suggests it would be KKFOS?
So--part of it has to do with how he talks on the treatments. Throughout the process since October--every treatment leading up to this one has been consistently above the 100 page mark; and often, the had specifically answered a question on the regards of a specific element (and sometimes he's answered multiple questions. Case in point:
Treatment 1 - 124 Pages, Original, an element he looked into was of early 80's synthwork
Treatment 2 - 136 Pages, IP (not a book report), with Murdy having to look up the meanings of Detritus\
Treatment 3 - 110 Pages, no answer on original or IP but he has had to explore new effects and the scents of specific trees
Treatment 4 - 116 pages, didn't give an answer if it was Original or IP; but he did have to note that he completely reworked the script on this (And that he researched elements on dark rings around the eyes
Treatment 5 - 106 Pages, exclusive to Hollywood and a concept he had planned for at HHN2018
Treatment 6 - 139 Pages, with the house being noted for specific window types and vehicle types that he had to research and go into
In contrast, Treatment 7 for the first time; seems to be that pivot to go back to the below 90 mark at 85 pages. And when he finally did comment on the subject of something he researched into on treatment 7, it had to do with the pleasant scents that he doesn't typically research for. Essentially, atleast from what it seems on other areas of the HHN community, like HHN365; it has led to the speculation that he might've pulled back to do a repeat of a previous house in the prospects of how low the page count is.
And while it is more speculative than hard truth; the rate of how long it took for him to respond (Which typically would be a manner of hours, took days), would make it seem like what he wrote is something that might not be worth giving as much in information ahead of the reveal.
The only thing that would make the repeat even somewhat tolerable in my eyes is if they finally do Klownzilla justice. The Yao Guai they had in Fallout last year shows they can do big puppets.
My hope is that with Holidayz in Hell and Poltergeist showing that they can and could do changes to previous house concepts; that it enables him to add in that chance for something new to the mix. Even if it's just reinstating originally planned elements; it'd go a long way.
