The only thing I hear discussed from fans was how disappointed or underwhelmed they were

Everyone I've talked to in person has only gushed about how much they loved it (myself included). This seems to be another "vocal minority."

As for the possible comedy show, um...let's just say, this is my wheelhouse and I've heard nothing of the sort (yet). I can't really elaborate further than that lol

Eh, I'll give Late Night with Ted (or whatever they call it) a chance over another USJ import in Dreamworks. Hopefully Macfarlane and Universal Creative let the actors do more improv than the Chucky show two years back. It felt pretty scripted and strangely PG-13 when it needed to be R.

I also didn't dislike the Chainsaw man show....I think it worked better then JJK for fan fest

But Universal needs to find a better way of letting things be funny...makes to me almost no sense why the characters in park get to be hilarious and some even kind of mean but like Chucky is on a script during an adult after hours event that you paid to come to...and the pre show warns you about its made for adults

I’m glad, especially with how mid the last season was. The 2023 house we got was the strongest of the three ST houses so at least it ended on a good note. It’s time to move on.

The indie studio is also developing a new film based on the long-lived horror franchise.

They have secured the rights to produce a series and film, but they do not own the IP rights, so it shouldn't have any impact on the licensing of previous entries in the series.

I get the sense this year's going to be a unique year for Hollywood. I think Brian had previously talked about how sometimes an anniversary year doesn't necessarily mean what it should be for specific reasons; and I suspect 20 Years for HHN Hollywood is going to be treated with a sense of importance that isn't directly for Orlando.

Can't imagine Orlando won't celebrate--infact I kind of imagine HHN Orlando will be doing amazing work with the upcoming 35th Anniversary, but I do think the focus should be placed on the west coast this year (and for a reason).

Okay, so we've definitely got at least 6 houses and the tram lol. I'm all for no Stranger Things, no offence to those who love it.

I wouldn't mind Ted if it was a vehicle for un-pc mayhem. I mean Bill and Ted as an IP was at best, obliquely horror adjacent and it was fun. Better still: Bill and Ted and Ted.

Hoping for some dream IPs this year, cough Hellraiser cough.

Will be good having Vin Diesel Coaster hopefully running at HHN. Hopefully those sound shields will facilitate no limitations on operating hours.
