In general I would love to see more originals ported over. Graveyard Games would've been great to see this year.

Yeah, this is probably going to be my favorite year for a good while but I am disappointed with the originals. Monstrous 3 will probably be good but it’s basically been the same house for the past 3 years, and Scarecrow is just a redo from 3 years ago.

It would be fine if the Tram was an original, but it’s just Blumhouse AGAIN. Can’t complain about the rest of the lineup though

We typically have 2 originals and a Universal Monsters maze. Something about the spec isn't lining up for me. Monstrous and Scarecrow are already known. But getting rid of UCM for WWE is...a choice. But that has me thinking maybe the WWE aspect is all wrong.

I will say, WWE did buy AAA earlier this year, a popular luchador wrestling company. Is Monstrous really Luchadorz with a WWE/AAA affiliation? This would be the only acceptable angle for WWE to enter the fray and not be a complete joke. They are pushing this joint venture way harder than anything Wyatt Sicks related. They had a whole PPV event for it in Los Angeles earlier this month.

Don’t think anybody’s posted the new Nightmares map. Well, house spec is pretty much over. Now we just have two unknown SZ’s and the DWT show + food, bars and whatever the new non-house non-zone non-m&g that Murdy teased on Twitter is.

This isn’t going to be everyone’s favorite year… but it’s definitely going to be mine. I’m ecstatic that this is the first year I get to be part of the event. My only real complaint is the death of the yearly Monsters house.

Terrifier, Jason, Poltergeist, Scarecrow, Monstruous, FNAF, and Fallout are all somewhere from great to pretty strong in my opinion, and although I don't care about wrestling, WWE could be fun. [I did like the last minute spec that some of the construction in the JW queue with the thatched roof could mean Creature from the Black Lagoon instead, but I assume that is just deeply wishful thinking LOL.] Lineup is exciting for me as well.

Two interesting points to me about this spec map. First, the prior one had something like a robot or a bug for the entry SZ, and it has shifted back to unknown. Will be interesting to see. Second, it looks based on this like the Crowz are moving down to the Lower Lot. I think having a SZ in the Lower Lot is definitely a good idea. I sort of wish it was one of the front two instead - those have a tendency to blur together into one zone - but I get why they'd want something a bit more space-efficient in the Lower Lot, which can be tight.

Us having a scarezone back in Lower Lot after a decade is great to see. I wonder how far it goes into the midway, especially considering how thematic Murder of Crowz was.

I can see them wanting to have it take a portion of the midway, like old school HHN. Additionally; I think Blumtram unironically makes a lot of sense on a synergy perspective and a cost perspective. You also have IP's that could work if they are given the "Gauntlet" Treatment in tow.

Insidious replacing M3GAN in the beginning, repositioning M3GAN to be later on; and maybe including Saw as the finale gauntlet would be a good set of additions alongside the marketing of The Black Phone 2.

It’s hilarious seeing so many complaints about WWE. This year is a stacked line up. Focus on all the fun IPs that coming. WWE will be an underrated house.

The latest spec map does nothing for me but prior speculation has been fun.

For originals, the Monstrous trilogy should be announced first. Can’t wait for the Terrifier announcement.

As someone who watches WWE 2-3 times a week, I would be excited if Wyatt Sicks were actually relevant.

Just shows how very relative all this is... I've been going ever since HHN returned to USH, usually getting a FFP for maybe the last decade or so. But this year, we are seriously considering skipping it altogether (or just a single visit).

Assuming the rest of hour mazes line up with predictions, this is a year with virtually nothing that interests me.
