Hamikuma was meeting with guests prior to park closing on event nights. I believe the first set time was at 4pm on both the 12th and 13th. For now Hamikuma is only meeting on days HHN is happening.

Sounds like it’s a meet during the event with the way early access is shaping up. Sounds like I need to be in line for fnaf pretty quickly?? Or has anyone met Hamikuma at 4 then gone down to fnaf and not waited long

Ohh easily if you are waiting in line for him before it takes like a minute to see him....even if there is a little line you should be down in the lower lot by 4:30ish at the latest

I mostly had a great time at the event last night, but dear lord were the line operations atrocious for me. For FNAF, I got in line for during early access, and only ended up waiting about 45 minutes; I noticed in the time that the maze was running that they were heavily favoring express, but it didn't hurt our experience too much. I then managed to hit Terrifier, Poultergeist, and Fallout with 5-15 minute waits before opening… but doing Monstrous at the end of the night was an aggravating experience. The posted wait was 30 minutes when we entered at 11:20pm, and it ended up being 75 minutes. They'd let in maybe 10 standard guests for every 100 express guests and everyone in my group and around us was astounded at the imbalance. I don't know if it was just that queue or an event-wide issue, but it made for a really annoying note to go out on. It feels like Universal is overselling Express more and more each year at the expense of almost every guest.

Also the third part of the Hollywood HHN team talking about the houses this year is out

John even talks about for a wanting the event to be able to evolve and try new things like Chainsawman and not only have a narrow definition or horror

I got to do express twice

Its also not just express but RIP (on the first night it was bad, I was about to get on houses so many times then have to wait for not just one but two RIP groups to go on over express backing up the lines even more)

On last Saturday we got lucky and the longest wait was 30 mins for FNAF in the general line at EA, Terriffer said 60 mins wait but was maybe 15 mins

My main point is mostly they eat up express people like don't make you wait at all and they need to do a better system closer to 50/50 when the lines for houses are insane and this is coming from someone who bought express the lines are just unfair to the general and are by far the worst part of the event but.....since I have been going its been an issue and every year they ask for thoughts...and do nothing on the ops so its like yelling a clouds they don't give a crap about the general guests

My advice for those who can't wait go two days with EA or one day with EA and express and you should have an amazing time if you are tight for cash I understand and just tell people to save up. For me this is my event of the year and easily spend more on it then any other event all year

If there was ever a time to push for the metro sets again, however unrealistic that may be, now would be the time to do that for next year.

When are they doing wristbands? They are always so back and forth on this. Is it still just at the box office?

Agreed, and this year, there is even a clear sign stating wristbands begin at 3pm. You can get them at a special podium just inside the main entrance, or at special podiums set up just outside the Tower Guest Relations (across from Dreamworks Theater)

I went into Monstruos' line like 3 times and each time I would take a look at the end of the line and immediately turn around. Even when it said 15 or 30 mins, the line taking up 50% of the Minions queue spoke for itself. Ended up running to it at 1:59AM right after the last headbanging of the chainsaw chaseout and was able to walk on. Every single actor spot was in use too so I got a really good run through.
