It's SS24. The facade is huge and is taking a lot of inspiration from Poltergeist.

One of the all time greats IMO

The more I hear about it the more im certain the simple concept does not equal a simple execution

Just curious, how confident are we this is Soundstage 24, and not switched with Galkn? Galkn sounds like it'll be a more open house, while Grave of Flesh is rumored to be much more confined and claustrophobic.

I know someone who has seen the facade for this house in person, Grave of Flesh is 100% in Soundstage 24.

Though I don't know why you would think those two houses would be switched, they're both in big locations. At that point the claustrophobic conditions are intentionally made in the houses design, not by actual space constraints like it would in the original sprung tents or Supercharged locations.

Only reason I thought so was Legacy's earlier description of this sounding like mostly caverns and being similar to Catacombs: Black Death Rising (which was in Sprung 1), and Galkn's description implying bigger sets in a village/town. Just naturally thought a town would make more sense in a soundstage than caves, but I'm still very excited to see how they pull both off.

I mean a new tent is basically as big as a SS. Look at goblins last year. Gálkn will be fine.

This house may be us in caves but I expect more then than that.

This was my mindset as well - even moreso with Fallout being in a tent too.

I think we're going to Hell in this one. I don't think we're staying in dark caverns the whole time

So from the house description and how its been described, it seemed like the plot for this house is you die, this is the afterlife and its horrifying. It added a shadow of existential dread to the narrative.

From the podcast it just seems like it's actually just "don't get buried here, these guys will eat your corpse."

Am I misunderstanding? Is there a disconnect between the narrative here and what the house actually is?

That's kind of how it sounds. Definitely not what I was expecting.

I really dig this podcast though - it gives me early 2010s Creeypasta narration vibes lol

So from the above I’m guessing this podcast has spoilers?

Not exactly. It's the same premise as the synopsis, just a cool example at what the Ghouls from the house do. Definitely more of a prelude to the house like El Artista or like Bugz Eaten Alive a few years ago.

I would say so. Setting wise it barely goes past the initial graveyard facade, I still don't know where the rest of the house goes based off the podcast, but it gives a great creepy vibe to the house.
