I thought it might be interesting to hear any experiences people may have had with any gaffes or goofs that have occurred in the park.

To start, here's a video of WaterWorld. I encourage you to watch the whole thing:

It was always pretty funny seeing Arnold's character come out with no motorcycle in T2:3D.

Well, The Simpson's is one big gaffe and goof. Has been since 2008. ;) haha

But no really, I have experienced every possible goof probably. Stuck on rides, evacuated from rides, animatronics not working or working hilariously bad on any rides that have them, projections not synced up or part of the screen failing, Earthquake going into E Stop mode and the tram not shaking but all the effects still working, Kong's projections failing, Transformers projections failing, the t-rex waterfall closing on us WHILE going down the drop and drenching the boat, getting stuck on the Simpson's with the car motionless, the hidden/trap doors being stuck open during Terminator, etc etc etc

https://www.youtube.com/embed/yz62iQVpVoU?feature=oembedThat's me being stuck on the Simpson's.

Hahaha well considering how often I've been to Universal OVER THE MANY YEARS, it's not that often haha. Remember, that's just a list from over many years, not every visit haha.

Besides....wouldn't you WANT to evacuate from a ride? That's every theme park geek's dream!

I have heard about the motorcycle problems. Do you know if there's a video of the Terminator coming out with no motorcycle?

Sadly, I don't. I haven't seen any on Youtube. Too bad I can't write my mental memory "video" onto a DVD for you :/

I have behind the scenes video of the team practicing the routine when the bike would break down on stage.  House lights on!  Not in costume.

Is that a video recorded by cell phone posted a couple of years ago on this forum? I recall such a video but I may be mistaken. If you can share it, I would say yes please. :-)

I recorded it with my video camera in 1080i.  I have footage from the floor and from the scaffolds looking down on the stage.

Long-time reader Dennis wanted to submit this into our thread. It seems like someone made an error in the NBCUniversal Experience.

Universal Experience - I wish they would correct it!

"Display of  Blueprint of House, which was not part of the Movie, To Kill a Mockingbird Movie."

The reason for the history error is that Universal backlot Had two versions of  "Industrial Street", one created in 1955, and new one  at the location today's Elm Street. The person who created the display, did not known the Art Departments had two versions of "House#1"  from two difference backlot streets.

The house that should be on display is the first House on today's Elm Street, namely the Bo Radley House,

The 1981 map shows  Blg. #8  is the one in the display case.

Attached is Universal Experience  history Goof -  two examples of the wrong house.
If some one on your site wants to do History Moment, they are welcome use the photos

So this thread is for all of us to discuss some out of the usual stuff and funny stories we have encountered at the park. Just like jon has said several times he likes how corky USH can be so let me know any stories you have I'll go first.

Yesterday we were in car number "03" on the studio tour and our team kepped getting stuck going up hills it got stuck the first time going up to King Kong we were stuck there for about 10 minutes and finally a giant GMC truck came to puch us slowly up the hill. We then got stuck again going up the same hill after kong and the same truck helped us up at this point the seats we were sitting on were getting extremely hot because we were sitting in the back row of car 1 where the engine was. We BARELY made it up the small hill in little Europe. So then we made it to amity island where we got stuck again and eventually they gave up and transferd us over to another team right next to wisteria lane which is good because how awkward would it have been if we got stuck going up the hill after psyco the actor who plays Norman bates would not have had any idea how to react haha. Anyway it was a cool experience plus I got to walk on the backlot for a couple seconds!

It's funny, I've done evacuations myself as an employee (it's more stressful than it looks) but I've never, ever been lucky enough to be evac'd off a ride. Someday.... someday...
