This house was my surprise house of the year. I wasn’t expecting to have as much fun as I did. It was a fun walkthrough and had some funny moments.

This house was another pleasant surprise for me! A word I used often to describe this house was "Delightful!". It has some nice sets, a lot of character (and characters), some good scares here and there, and this one was just a lot of fun to go through.

Kinda' started off middle of the pack for me on Wednesday, but the following days (Thurs - Sat) kept improving with bigger casts who got into their grooves and clearly enjoyed playing with their food, so to speak. I had a lot of fun runs through here, and I feel this was a more successful take on the fantasy genre than Dueling Dragons last year.

My MVP's for this house are definitely the trio in the cave, they were getting some wonderfully consistent scares throughout the nights which I appreciated quite a bit!

Our trip is over - and this finished at 2nd on my ranking.

This was my biggest surprise by far. The combination of great sets, music, atmosphere, gore and humor really hit for me in a big way.

I said it before, but it truly feels like you are walking through a town during a Pub crawl and just entered an Irish pub gone sideways.

So I know a week or two I came in here saying this house was a bit dissappinting but this past week this house has gotten way better for me. I'm not sure if they moved some actors around (the end 2 actors have been missing for a while for me now) to make earlier portions feel more full or if it is just hitting a different cast now. This past week the way we have been going we have consistently hit cast B for this house and there is a string of actors in the middle (after the troll thing from dragons up to the girl in the cage) that go hard with quick resets and scaring off trigger. They are doing great work. So maybe my gripe is with cast A here or they made tweaks to amp it up a bit. I'll have to make an effort to do cast A and see which it is.

I know the exact stretch you're talking about. Those guys on cast B rock (though I felt just about everyone on B was doing exemplary work).

100% right, there's a cast in here that absolutely loves to get in your face and are very aggressive.

I didn’t think I’d like this house that much. It was number 9 on my hype list. Boy, was I wrong. An all timer for sure and the sleeper hit of the year. Set design is insane, costume and makeup work is astonishing, and cast is doing a phenomenal job every single night. Love it!
