Maybe this sign is what we are thinking about? They had opening Summer 2026 on the wait time sign (I took this in March)

I remember seeing that briefly but that was only there for a few days if I recall, past few months it wasn't there

I really doubt the coaster is getting delayed, them notifying the neighbors about a June preparation for opening is more substantial evidence than a sign getting painted over imo

I was just saying this was the sign many of of were thinking of that said Summer 2026....and the construction Wall says 2026

When people started using the word "delayed", everyone assumed that meant months, when really it meant weeks.

The ride was never in any real trouble, but like any new ride there were unforseen challenges and tweeks that needed to be made. There will be those even after the ride opens.

I'm hearing the entire month of June will be devoted to previews for different groups, with a huge media event scheduled for late June. Subject to slight changes of course.

Universal press release tomorrow: “We’ve heard and seen how excited fans are all around the world for the opening of Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift. To ensure that it lives up to the franchise and fans’ expectations, we’ll be opening it in June… 2027!”

They'll be days where it will open up for whoever is lucky enough to go to the park that day.

And fun fact, I tried to apply to be a ride op for this thing, learned they didn't take me in April. Forgot to bring it up until now but that was all the more reason I suspect that we were getting closer even before now.

This thing is opening June/july. It’s pretty much ready I think it’s got about a month or 2 of work left before they soft open.

If the Coaster is coming in June, then give us a date. But we also don't have any info on Mega Movie summer and I almost joke we might get an HHN house announced before we get more info on the coaster or the summer event
