The show has tons of gore , and has a character that’s basically undead. It might skew a bit sci-fi / dark comedy , but it also has tons in common with the horror genre.

It's right there with Stranger Things. It should be a ton of fun.

Honest opinion - The Insidious house wasn't scary at all.

Watch it because HHN lol @hunnylvr has started to watch it & found it intriguing enough to fill a void it seems. So yes, watch

@Wesker69 is correct. I have started watching. We watched episode 2 last night. The show gives me Mad Max vibes, but then, I guess that's not a stretch since wastelands, limited resources, etc.. I can see this being a good HHN house. Fallout is definitely it's own unique take on the nuclear apocalypse idea and includes dark humor (which I love). It's definitley NOT a waste of time to watch. Further, I believe it's only 8 episodes, so you're not dedicating half your life to check it out.

As a horror fan, is the show something I should watch? Or is it kind-of a stretch to be considered "horror"?

@LPCaptainDeath summed it up beautifully. I would never call Fallout a "horror series" or a "horror game."

But every game and the series have absolutely horrific moments that would fit perfectly in an HHN house. Even just for the series you have Raiders, Yao Guai, Ghouls and the Gulper.

this is gonna be controversial, but, the fallout show and games to me were better than The Last Of Us. not saying that The Last Of Us isn't good.
but fallout the show was much more entertaining and after watching both games, fallout was more interesting.
sure The Last Of Us has more horror elements, but fallout was more fun. and the show was more fun. more entertaining and enjoyable.

so the conclusion is, yes it definitely belongs in hhn, and horror fans should definitely watch it.
it's definitely got a lot of violence and gore and some horror characters.

I was a huge fan of the games a decade ago, but I've yet to watch the show... I'm excited to see a lot of the imagery at the event, but what kind of tone could be expected based off of the show?

Based on the show and the other rumored houses, a lock for this year's dark comedy house. Think Zombie-geddon.
