Is Statdust still down from the valley? Have been checking all day today and looks like it always closed all day.

Stardust opened about a week after the valley in early February and seemed to have been operating smooth up until the last few days.

For 10% it's a total of the day, so if the park is open 10 hours a day that means a full 1 hour of park capacity was lost on average. Epic is nothing surprising, but DCA is very surprising. Where's all the DCA issues talk?

Trust me, we're here! It's just been going on for longer, so there's a (fair or unfair) recency bias at effect here.

IMO, I think they need to retrack Incredicoaster. Seems like that ride always has considerable downtime which, in a park with only a few E-tickets, really skews the downtimes scores for DCA.

It's been open 26 years now. A retrack seem inevitable.

Hopefully they get the audio reliable on Stardust. Was spotty from ride to ride last time I was there.

Well, if it wasn't working on the 6th, then they got it working on the 7th, and you went on the 8th and it was no longer working, I don't think that really qualifies as "bad luck" at that point, maybe ... just par for the course. :skull:

It worked on the 13th too, two Fridays ago.

I believe the Stardust work was a sudden change. Some other attractions were planned to go under the knife soon for some changes to hopefully improve operations. I know Yoshi was specifically planned for work on the ride system / vehicles at the end of this month, beginning of next month.

The Stardust situation sure made it tougher on Epic times. Even Monsters has hovered around an hour for much of the last couple days.

I'm wondering if flight cancellations due to the Northeaster, have stranded tourists in Orlando, resulting in some temporarily higher crowds than expected. Crowds at Universal & WDW should have emptied out after Presidents Day week winding down, but they haven't.

Note on Downtime... Universal isn't posting "Delays" on the app for some attractions. They'd rather just "bake-in" the downtime to the posted wait then prevent guests from entering the queue. Has been a recurring theme at Hiccup's and Ministry - attractions that see short delays quite consistently on some days.

There's been a noticeable increase in wait-times around president's day weekend. We should be entering a 2 week quiet period before spring break mayhem.

Yes. I ran into the delays/closed queues not posted on the apps when I went. It's a pain for touring and hides the true downtime. Yes, Presidents Day week has become one of the busiest holiday weeks. But it continued on Sat. Sunday and today when it should have winded down normally.
