Epic Universe Food and Drink General Discussion

I love how I’ve seen so many places recommended here. Curious, for those who’ve been. Whether it is a sit down, quick service, or food stand, what’s everyone’s top 3 spots here? Trying to gain a forum consensus.

Pizza Moon, Atlantic, Gobelet Noir, in no particular order.

We'll be at Epic on Sunday, probably spend a good portion of our day in Berk with the kids so lunch at the Mead Hall is my guess.

What are some good kid friendly suggestions for an early supper around 6-7?

And are reservations recommended? I know they are typically not necessary at Islands and Studios but is Epic busy enough to need them?

Most of the restaurants at Epic are like Minions cafe where you order in the app, scan your table # when you have a table -- during busy times, this turns into waiting to be seated (as opposed to waiting at a register) -- I believe they all do have a register to order from. Mead Hall would fall into that group. Berk in particular has a couple of mobile order or walk up windows. Those places seem to have the more talked about food in Berk including the mac-n-cheese cones with a few different protein options. (Hooligan's grog and Gruel)

There's something about how cozy it all is, too. Really tucked away, the layout kind of a maze (complimentary). I forget what specific sandwich I had, but it was one of the tastiest things I had all day.

I loved this as well. Le Gobelet felt like you were tucked away in a hidden place.

That was delicious! And it’s served with the best fries I’ve ever had at a theme park. They were just fries but something about them made them really outstanding.

I'm not sure if it's across the board at Epic but the fries at Das Stakehaus hit different lol

Oh no! I enjoy what I had there at least. Atlantic is stellar.

I vote Das Stakehaus.

That said, they really did a bang-up job of offering so many great bars/restaurants.

And two bad ones: looking at you Burning Blade and Bar Moonshine.

Yeah, I think the vibe of Blue Dragon is great. The food is merely okay and the service wasn’t nearly as good as we got at Atlantic.

Atlantic rips.

And two bad ones: looking at you Burning Blade and Bar Moonshine.

Oh man, you're not going to like my assessment of Burning Blade, either...

I'm glad we canceled our Blue Dragon reservation on our trip in September, in favor of trying more quick service stuff.

(although, we also canceled our Atlantic res)

We loved Blue Dragon and Atlantic. I'd probably place Atlantic above Blue Dragon, but I'd absolutely revisit both! The vibes at both are cute and very unique, and I enjoyed the service, flavors, variety, etc.

I enjoyed breakfast at the French cafe, but my poor lactose intolerant husband didn't really have options there (and he insisted he didn't want the option to have someone come to the table to talk about his food issues lol). I found it harder to find breakfast in general at Epic vs IoA and UOR.
Still wanna try the mac n cheese cones so bad lol
Went to Burning Blade twice. Loved the garlic stake! Hated the cheese bites.
Haven't found a drink I love yet, but I've only been to Epic twice. I liked Waituri Punch (spelling?) well enough, but it wasn't anything special. Appreciated that it was strong though lol

Just from photos alone, Atlantic legit looks Narcoose’s level, and it’s inside a theme park. I’m booking there asap if my BF and I are there in April.
