I imagined this as a Beauty and Beast from Tokyo type ride; trackless vehicles that dance around the same room while the characters sing songs around you. Would work well for this musical movie.

A (relatively) fast-loading people-eater is something the park really needs more of.

As long as they take care to differentiate it from the other trackless rides at WDW.

If Encanto is trackless, hopefully it will be more intimate and spritely like Mystic Manor. Mystic manages to avoid the "lots of floor" feeling that happens with trackless rides.

Yeah, that's what I've heard. A pair of vehicles each with two rows of bench seating that can accommodate three (but will usually accommodate two).

You know, if I was a big entertainment company who buys industrial equipment I'd buy two sets of things. Maybe for Epcot? (Please I can only hope lol)

Anyway, 8-12 guests per dispatch so if they want to hit 2000 guests it would require 14 second dispatches. Seems a little rough. Primevil Whirl got 900 guests an hour per side, so maybe they're aiming closer to the 1600-1800 range.

Unless it's dispatching like Toy Story Midway Mania... yeah, I think you're probably right.

With the rumor this is more in line with a nice Fantasyland darkride than a big E-ticket, I'm also in the boat this isn't a trackless darkride. A tracked ride with multiple cars fits the bill more.

If there is one thing the Epic building years should have taught us it's that patents should never be used as a measure of confirmation for anything in a park. And nothing in that patent or that article specifies trackless being needed for this illusion...
