Its a wonderful show....but all the shows next years are just things from the past

On a year with no new attractions, just feels somewhat lazy to me for the price of the parks. I'd like to see some new they can always say more is coming but its just funny to me to see people so hyped for old shows, we don't want a new parade or fireworks or WOC?

To my eye, they're investing in California Adventure over the next two years, which needs it more than Disneyland does. Disneyland is looking to get more little tweaks like going back to the real fan favorite shows and adding Original Trilogy characters to Galaxies Edge rather than big new investment.

Granted, I don't go to Disney often anymore, but the last time I went the only thing that really stood out as paint points were the diminished Fantasmic and the prices. I'm ok with the main effort over the next two years being getting Avengers Campus into a fully featured land and the Coco boat ride up across the street for now, and I find it encouraging that they seem to have a good feel for what the fan favorites actually are and are willing to throw them back up.

I also don't think people being excited about Good Shows returning to the resort means people Don't Want New Stuff. But if I had to choose between the extremely mid Inside Out World of Color or the original ... I mean, that's an easy one.

WDWMagic user dlr74 said that someone shared with him a message Anaheim cast members got from DLR president Jill Estorino Sat night after D23:

"there is so much to come - the completed expansion of Avengers Campus, then the addition of a new Coco-themed attraction, followed by the transformation of Tomorrowland, and the new Avatar destination in the Hollywood Backlot"

also MickeyVisits got word from Disneyland officials that Monsters Inc's closure has been delayed indefinitely from the former early 2027 date. MickeyVisits predicts Monsters could have to an up to two year reprieve.

And once again there is back and forth on if Avatar is still happening. The direction most people on WDWMagic is that they are open to the notion it's still happening, but knowing Disney's past track record, they wouldn't be surprised if the plug is pulled considering the declining box office reception of the franchise and James Cameron wanting to move on from Avatar.

Here is the new HM street party show, its fine. Like the actors are killing it but...it just blows my minds that HHN makes 9ish new attractions every year and even the Purge show (which cost a lot to preform) and people still go to this...yes yes its for families but just insane people are paying 200ish bucks every year for the same event

Speaking for myself, I definitely wanted og WOC back. None of the many new ones have touched the original, except the holiday version.

Og WOC is literally almost perfect, and can maintain it's theme and amazing music, but still be updated with new scenes as needed.

I can't wait for a refreshed og version to come back, I just hope they restore the original villain segment!

Its not about it being a good show

Its about investment in the park and also....basically the new Immagneers I guess not being up to the task to make better new shows....even if they now have more to work with

I just wish I could own something like Disney, where putting in old shows go people to come in, thats the best kind's of fans
