I'd personally recommend a different approach: Haunted Mansion Holiday, then Tiana's, then Runaway Railway. I'd try for Rise later in the day once a bulk of the park has had a go at it.

I'll consider that, I've yet to do a nighttime ride on ROTR for that matter. It'll definitely be a plan B if ROTR doesn't open with the park.

This is what I would do with the caveat that (in my experience) Runaway Railway’s queue is typically pretty manageable. I’d do Mansion, Tiana’s and then see what Rise looks like before moving on. Maybe even hit Big Thunder and then check the Rise wait again.

Our plan is to keep an eye on the app and wait for ROTR to go down. It nearly always does, usually in the afternoon. Then go and wait for it to reopen, and you'll be nearly in the front of the line and get on with minimal wait.

Granted, it may not work, but it's worked for us about 4 out of the last 5 visits. Typically nowadays, it usually only breaks down for about 30-45 min before it reopens.

Would I be looking for if the wait time for ROTR is within an hour or less?
