DIG Escape Room Tour Coming To Universal

According to Inside The Magic, Universal Orlando will be the final stop for a touring "escape room" attraction to promote the upcoming USA series "Dig." The dates for the attraction are March 3rd thru March 8th, and it says that it will be located inside the park, not Citywalk. So I guess the question is where in the park? Thought the was obvious. Allah won't be that and I'm willing to bet won't be finished by the time this comes around in two weeks or so.

so the website says its in the disaster area. Which I assume its in the disaster queue because last time I was there I remember that wall were still up where giggles was. It says to go to the studio audience center in the park to reserve your spot. So does anyone know where that is?

The studio audience center is to the right just past the turnstiles. You will notice it.

It is in the disaster queue, and Studio Audience Center is to the right of turnstiles, where Lost and Found is, and has a flashing marquee. Hard to miss.

A few media sites have tried it out. Also check out Timtracker. He is doing it today. There's no filming allowed inside. So all you will hear is testimonies.

I did it today, we broke the speed record and solved it in 15 minutes. It's located in the Disaster extended queue, using some of the HHN maze space.
I wouldn't buy a park ticket just to do it since its significantly smaller than your average escape room, but it was fun. Signups are every morning at the USF studio audience center, get there early because they only have capacity for about 100 people per day (max group size 10 or 11, one group every 45min).

If you miss it, Attractions Magazine got permission to film the whole thing, it should air on next Thursday's show.

This has been very popular. with all tickets being given out within an hour of park opening, and the park has opened about 8:30 every morning. I was able to experience this on Tuesday, and it was fun! The experience is only 30 minutes max, and it goes about every hour, with the last experience at 6:30.

Seth, how did I miss you? I was there from 10 AM-7:30 on Mar 3!

I would love to see us bring this back, perhaps change things up so that people can experience it more than once and not be bored.

Sorry I missed you! I was in the media group with Attractions Magazine. We were the only ones they allowed to film the whole thing AFAIK so you can't watch it on The Show next week.

So what do you think the total daily capacity on this was? Because I'm estimating they'd need to build 100 of them to equal the throughput of a single C-ticket...

Can't really talk numbers, but the math isn't hard to figure out. My idea is to charge $10 or so for people to do this, but make it a little longer or more difficult. Or, if we brought it back for maybe one week a month or something, but whatever, I'd love to see us do it again.
