So, not big or noteworthy but I thought I'd just bring it up. I've heard tell that Universal has removed Bruce's bottom teeth, I can only assume this is due to guest complaints (probably scratched while trying to crawl their way up his mouth for a photo. I've done this numerous times and have been scratched but it never hurt or left any marks. I always thought of it as a "love bite"). Either way, if anyone wants to investigate that would be cool. I will be up there Saturday, and will probably give the ole boy a visit to see for myself. If the teeth ARE gone, I may make my own complaint to Universal. Either way, thoughts?

I also noticed this. I chalked it up to vandalism.

Maybe they are replacing them, otherwise put some rubber ones in and be done with it.

Am I the only one who thinks Bruce is in desperate need of a paint job? I mean, look at videos/pictures of him when he was new (I have none, nor do I have time to look for any)- he looked almost realistic back then, and he certainly didn't have any rust on his tail fin :look:

I would bet once Diagon Alley opens he will be removed one night.
He was only put back up because of complaints.
Guests did not know Amity and /or Jaws was gone.
They will not spend money to repaint him.

I was there on Saturday, and stopped by Bruce to investigate. I nabbed this photo, ends up it was worse than I thought. No way will Bruce ever get his lower teeth back.

What photo? I don't believe you can post a picture here from facebook and thus it is not showing up.

That is just embarrassingly ridiculous. Might as well remove the entire thing now. It really is a dire statement on society that the parks have to idiot-proof every single thing these days.

What is the difference between where it was originally and where it is now? Did the old location have an attendant to prevent people doing dumb things?

No, but it certainly had higher visibility to TM's back then. Still, they wouldn't be able to intervene fast enough in certain cases of stupidity. Now it's kind of in no man's land.

They can't do this to something so iconic! It looks disgusting and stupid now, and while I would regret them actually doing it, they might as well just get rid of it altogether

There's a bar right next to it, with TM's working. I wouldn't say it's hyper visible but there are definitely TM's around.

They should fix it, but then station a Photo Connect photographer there all the time to simultaneously sell pictures and keep an eye on the shark.
