Hopefully the full trailer is kept old school like this teaser & NOT show every thing the movie has to offer.
It's my biggest complaint, nobody knows how to edit anymore & show too much. It doesn't ruin a movie for me personally, but it'd be nice to have genuine surprises again. Tease enough, but leave them in the dark & wanting more.

Yeah, it's a weird process where the studios contract these out to trailer-houses. My old roommate cuts a lot of them and the notes process alone would drive me insane. Honestly, just give me Keaton bumming around as Juice and I'm sold.

Bring back old school trailers with voiceovers and 50% of the trailer is not in the movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This accomplishes what it needs to. Teases without revealing too much. Puts something out these for those who had no clue a new movie was coming. I think this'll be big. Similar to what happened with Maverick. While not on the same scale, big numbers from the nostalgia crowd.

Guessing Astrid (Ortega) ends up in the diorama/afterlife and Lydia summons BJ to save her and Dafoe plays a big bad, allowing BJ to not be a total antagonist in the sequel (because who wants to see the iconic character be as truly evil and gross as he originally was now?).
Don't get the hate for Day-O re-appearing when it's being sung (hilariously) at a funeral of all things. Keaton looks more than game to return here but it's truly gonna depend on what he's given to work with.

Maybe she's shacked up with Dafoe's character? Reason for BJ to 'play nice' and help Lydia/Astrid (before he hatches his own scheme to get free in the third act?).
Probably going to be skipping the full trailer regardless, will be fun going in blind!
Or Astrid is mistaken for Lydia & gets kidnapped, resulting in a Lydia & Beetlejuice team-up.... MAYBE a trip to the Netherworld

Alex Brightman cameo or we riot.
Also, one thing I'll be seriously (but not that seriously) upset is if BJ stays in the black and white suit the whole film. That's HIS look but they had so much fun putting him in different outfits in the original that it'd be a waste if he didn't get some new duds for some scenes.
I do expect a reference to the original Beetlejuice 2 script "Goes Hawaiian".
But I do feel this one will be leaning into the more serious, darker horror tone.. with the typical expected comedy and/or 1-liners
