Wishful thinking here, but it would be really cool if they replicate the preshow from Cosmic Rewind. Would love to see the teleportation effect make its way out West.

FWIW, I seem to recall them mentioning story-wise the ride vehicles are able to make jumps between dimensions etc., so a teleportation effect in a preshow wouldn't be needed.

And while I know it's wishful thinking and all, the preshow from Cosmic Rewind is not something I'd want any attraction to replicate, because IMO...it's the worst modern day preshow Disney has done so far. And a factor being it revolves around the teleporter effect which is executed so poorly, it's a total whiff and waste of time. It's not what you want for an attraction where there's a general sense it needs to deliver.

Scale wise I expect it to be the same level as the Pan TDS reshow, albeit themed to Avengers.

I really hope there are at least SOME animatronics in here. Like this is supposed to be the grand Avengers E-Ticket. Give us some animatronics!

Looks great though. A little disappointed it won’t open next year, but that’s Disney for you.

Look at 1:00, I think this is a mock up scene with an Iron man AA?!!! And then maybe again at 1:18.

I wonder if some technical snag was hit that pushed the opening back.

Even though they didn't specifically mention any for this attraction, I'll be surprised if there aren't at least a few. The whole theme of the D23 presentation (in a way) was almost a celebration of AAs, and it sounds like they know fans want more of that stuff.

I think they changed this attraction up quite a bit from when it was announced, personally.

Definitely think that we're gonna get shrunk by Ant-Man at some point hence the huge hammer set, which is a pretty cool concept.

This video has pretty clear mockups of the ride scenes (seems like we'll be slowly accumulating Avengers, similar to how Peter Pan slowly accumulates Darling children)

I love how the plot is what Universal would have done......welcome to a normal thing...ohh no something has gone wrong..now help us out

I was hoping the Ironman flat ride could open before the E ticket but just hoping the ride can be something most people enjoy and eats enough people to not have too insane of lines

Oh no... I'm worried this is going to be bad, y'all.

Disengaged actors performing bad dialogue is ok for pre-shows, but I'm worried about how much they're integrating these guys into the ride itself. Hopefully Doomsday rekindles the Avengers craze, otherwise I think this ride could feel as tired as RDJ looks.

I was thinking about how I thought this was billed more as like Star Tours but with sets as in they would have different paths and villains but it feels like for now its just on story against Thanos

Definitely disappointing as that would've been a nice 2027 treat. Going to be a busy few years at DLR with all the work they've got coming down the pipe.
