And not one of us is entitled to know what any of those houses are until Universal wants us to, yet we’ve had hints and spec maps that essentially tell us everything for a long time now…and it’s *still* not enough?? Unbelievable.

It's absolutely fascinating to me that a side effect of the 'instant information' age is that so many people just NEED to know something as soon as it is birthed into the universe. Designers of the event and some people know what is currently being developed and brought to life for the event and it just drives some people batty that they aren't privvy to that information like now.

And to be perfectly forthcoming, I think there’s going to be far more excitement from legitimate surprises than just figuring out some clues a internet rando puts on a discussion board.

Yup. If we can't have interactive websites, it's good to have some element of surprise.

Yep. There is a key difference between speculation, actually putting the pieces together to get a good idea of what the event is, compared to just having someone tell you what is happening. I've found over the years a lot of the "speculation" that occurs in this thread is just the latter.

It’s true, it seems people really don’t want to speculate at all they just want everything spoon fed to them and it’s honestly getting embarrassing to have to address.

The displays of just, complete and total entitlement to know every minutiae of an event that we will all know every detail of if we can all just practice a little bit of patience…it’s a part of why this fandom can be so frustratingly unbearable at times. It’s never enough.

Agreed, and we're at the point where announcements are gonna' be coming rather frequently. The event starts September 3rd, and they usually have everything announced two-three weeks beforehand. So theoretically, everything will be revealed by August 20th or the 13th...that's just a hair under 5-6 weeks. An there's a LOT more than 5-6 things to announce, so I'm expecting some rapid fire announcements after the remaining IP houses and zone's are taken care of.

I could see maybe something like the abandoned house / church that was in The Harvest in 28, just to a larger scale maybe? Not sure, at all.

I’ve been going through a facade appreciation era, so would just like to see other people’s thoughts on this one, since this house has me pretty interested right about now.

Last year they did get started on the façade before they had to stop, and as I recall it didn't look like the Church from Twisted Traditions. In fact, I wasn't quite sure what it was supposed to be. It kinda' looked like some sort of mis-match of materials, including a brick wall of sorts.

This would be awesome, but I imagine the more likely scenario is unfortunately something closer to the MIB tent facade in 26 (Carey newspaper). Hope I’m wrong though.

EDIT: The comment @Tobias made above reminds me of the Hallow’d Past. Perhaps we’ll be entering a warehouse of sorts again?

Okay... some stuff:

The basic concept was that we would enter Billie’s nightmares, which related to some of her songs. Some of the songs were All the Good Girls go to Hell, When the Party's Over, Bury a Friend, Copycat (the shadow figures that were sold off), and You Should See Me in a Crown. The visuals were based on various things: lyrics, music videos, concerts, and the Billie Eilish Experience.

The BEST part though, are what the sleep demons would have looked like.

The house would have been an absolute trip.

Not a fan of Billie but it looks like it would be pretty dope. Personally I would really like to see Halloween 3 in Shrek but it seems like it’s a complete mystery right now. No matter what happens I believe this event is gonna so amazing and one of the best!

I’m guessing something about the way that tent’s installed requires the facade to mostly be a wall. All the others have used that as a base, and built around it.

That being said, it’d be cool to see the return of the screen and filmed footage from 26. I also have a theory about what could potentially be on the wall, based on the back of the leaked shirt last year (assuming that hasn’t been abandoned)
