Yes, almost definitely in the short term. This is definitely becoming conservation land to open up land elsewhere on the property.
Wonder if there'll be a 6th Gate someday?I don't know if I can handle anymore 5th gate speculation
You have to wonder... after they build their 6th gate, do they double down and go for a 7th and 8th? Call those parks and park 5/6 an entire different Disney entity from Walt Disney World. Now instead of guest booking their 1 week vacations, they'll be booking their 2 week vacations!Wonder if there'll be a 6th Gate someday?

Gate 9 could be the villains park we all want...good one....keep it going.....
235 acres is too small for a new park, me thinks it's more infrastructure upgrades for roads/resorts/skyliner/etc.
Better lay off the egg nog. Just sayin' :box:This is definitely Gate 5. Villains will be gate 6.
This one is earmarked as the new Marvel gate after they trade the Simpsons rights to Universal for the Marvel rights.
They need one. The current parks are becoming too crowded. Will Disney ever build a 5th gate though?
Umm, most parks in Florida aren't even close to this size lol (MK, IOA, USF, DHS, SWO, and probably Epic Universe as well)
I think this is very possible, especially considering the rumors of a resort going next to GF.It could be for a new super high end resort to counter the 4 Seasons.
