I would be more worried about the parking situation then buses they may have added more terminals but they didn't add more road lanes to get into that area, during the summer it could get backed up to I4 and that's without Volcano Bay traffic.

Good call. You were ahead of the game and all the unnecessary panicking.
Should've listened to @MagicMagicMagic all along instead of the following post (which was his first post on the forum) :(

No they are not misinformed the security checkpoint is in the south garage and also the ticket booths are there that's why they have you walk to citywalk. Also there is only 1 way to get to Volcano Bay which is the dedicated bus only road. Unless your a cabana Bay guest then you can just walk in.

Really dude why are you being a jerk? What did I ever do to you?
I don't mean to be a jerk to you- in fact, I'm all about new insight and members- and it sounds like you had good insight. But then everything you were adamant about being true, ended up being completely wrong. To the point you were telling people they were wrong- like @MagicMagicMagic twice- as if you were working on the project. I actually believed you were working on the project. And that wasn't cool.
All good though, water under the bridge

I always wonder this. Do theme parks have people on forums disguised as just regular posters, seeing what people think about their parks and what rumors people are talking about.

Yes. But not how you imagine it. Generally they are just workers who have an interest an so they post and because the internet is full of a-holes they dont make their positions obvious.

But there are astro-turfers who are paid by marketing to spread news and info and build hype for things.

And then there's actual research studies where they invite various folks to join a forum and chit-chat as if it was a focus group but instead online and at their leisure.

Generally if you complain on a forum or even praise things, no one hears it other than the occasional reporter who wanders by and posts us on their 6pm news blurb. So if you post online and don't do in-park surveys but have things you don't like and want changed, it's your own darn fault.

Many large business, particularly service oriented ones that focus on customer satisfaction, have full time social media people that monitor the outlets for negative as well as positive feedback. My wife is an executive in healthcare, and gets emails on a regular basis from their social media folks that point out negative or positive comments that are getting a lot of hits.

There is, at times, management who will send feelers out to see if employees are blabbing about info or BTS misconduct. This is usually kickstarted by upper management getting wind of news/stories leaking out when they shouldn't. That's why as a TM you must be careful. This is more common on social media, but it has happened in regards to forums. A few years back, USH Forums were heavily monitored by management. I'm pretty sure it lessened especially now that the park has gotten thru all of its expansion.

Does it always happen? No. Is it possible? Yes. But they're not looking for advice in those cases.
