They ditched the ride fog some time ago. It wasn't clear why.

It might've been because there was a large amount of fog that was going into the park path and guests walking by may have sensitivity to fog.

No. I use the same company that Universal uses for their fog. There are no sensitivity issues.
I bet it was scrapped for the sake of cost (fluid can be expensive) and not having the refill the system constantly.

Is it a possibility the walls could be down to tomorrow with softs in the afternoon on Friday? If so, I may be able to ride it!

This is what I heard days ago. But clearly that might have changed. Twitter is your best bet to know.

I don't think they'd soft on a Grad Bash day either, at least in the late afternoon. I can't imagine it'd be open long if they did.

Agreed. Most fog in special effects is water based so does not affect asmatics etc :)

Could the fog have been interfering with the Wifi system, or the electronics on the vehicles?

Heck, you'll see me doing that just about every day around noon on the stone walls in front of JP iscovery Center, Popeye's Deck, or the Central Park benches. The only difference is I use my GF's lap as a pillow.
