This layout is insane! After the initial launch your get a huge wave turn over the stage. Then into the spaghetti bowl with a lot of drifting turns up into the MCB. That's where things gets crazy. Out of the brake run into the bunny hop launch up the spike, the spinning cars do what they do. Down the spike into what ever that massive negative g loop thing is into a seriously overbanked turn followed by a massive stall.

What?!? Are you kidding me?

Finish it out with a massive airtime hill as a breather before the station.

That s-bend before the midcourse is going to be the sleeper hit element of this ride, the one in Hollywood has a really great sideways ejector pop and this should be going faster!

I had been hearing for a long time this version is way more intense. Sure Hollywood looks a fun little ride, really fitting for the park but this Orlando layout with the drifting looks super exciting. And the drift hat element is exciting enough as it is but with the Yaw control I know this ride is going to be bonkers.

Hollywood feels more conservative and traditional coaster in comparison

Having done Hollywood's version, I definitely wouldn't call it conservative or traditional. It's crazier than it looks. Florida just doesn't have the setting that Hollywood does, so they had to make up for it with unique elements.

That being said, this is probably my most anticipated coaster ever. Rockit was my home for almost two years. Seeing it replaced by a coaster that's very similar to two of my favorite coasters ever (Hollywood Drift West and Cosmic Rewind) makes it extra meaningful to me. I'll try to be there day one if I can.

Moments of backwards travel with the rotations, I would assume

That reminds me. Sometimes Hollywood's version has issues with the drifting and will go through the layout like a normal coaster. If that happens with this coaster, wouldn't that mean you go through half of the layout completely backwards?

Now having ridden the Hollywood version over six times, very curious how this one is going to feel with its more twisty layout. Hollywood has more inversions (one with ejector) and elevation changes, while Orlando is more sprawling and “drift” oriented (particularly in the first half seemingly). Curious if they’ll program the wave turn here like they do in Hollywood, as that’s one of the most intense parts of the ride (I still can’t explain the forces you feel there, it’s wild stuff).
