It'll be an add-on: there needs to be express pass inventory available that night, then you ask about the unlimited express upgrade and they'll charge you the additional fee. If express passes are soldout that night, if you didn't have an express pass bought already, you're out of luck.

Thanks for that. I don't plan on buying any individual nights of Express ahead of time. The only time I'll pay for Express is if I can get the Unlimited add on. I'll just check with them each day to see if it is available. If by some chance Express sells out for all of my nights (it won't), then I'll just live with it. But I'm not going to pay those prices for just one time each per house.

Yeah like StaticShock said - after midnight you'd have to go to the kiosks at the park.

But the hotel ticket desk opens up at I think 7AM?

Here's a hack for unlimited express on a friday - sunday HHN weekend trip:

On Friday walk up to UO's front gates as early as possible (before the 2pm scream early crowd shows up, even better try the morning when the park gates open for the day-time UO park visitors) and try to upgrade your friday night HHN express to unlimited. If its availiable, great! If not, enjoy the friday event. At 12:01am Saturday night immediately go to guest services and try to upgrade your Saturday HHN express to unlimited for the following night's event. Rinse and repeat for Saturday night's event: at 12:01am Sunday night immediately go to guest services and try to upgrade your Sunday HHN express to unlimited for the following night's event.

Caveat: you must have had purchased an express pass prior. You cannot directly purchase unlimited express, as there needs inventory for single night express on the day you want to upgrade. So if you wait too long and single-night express is sold out that evening, no dice for unlimited express upgrade unless you already purchased a single-night express pass.

They have concierge.

*Edited* I misspoke:

If you want to do it at 12:01am you need to go to the kiosks inside the park or go to guest services at the entrance.

Otherwise, at the hotel find out what time the concierge desk opens up and wake up early that morning to see if the unlimited express pass upgrade for HHN is available for that evening.

That’s what I thought. thanks for the clarification.

Personally, I’ve never really felt the need to do a house more than once in one night. By the time I’m done with all 10 I’m kind of spent anyway.

Seems kind of like a waste of money to get unlimited express to me.

I never knew about the unlimited express trick but may try that for a night instead of an after 11 express in two weeks…

Is there typically a separate food thread? I feel like there should be considering how important the food has become to this event.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this but I am finally attending my first Orlando HHN after over a decade of wanting to attend ever since I saw the art of the scare special. Been going to HHN Hollywood since 2007 so I am somewhat seasoned to how things go. I have express and I am only unfortunately able to attend the event for one night but I was looking for any tips or suggestions. I really cant believe I am going, ive been dreaming about this forever. Thanks!

1) Wear comfortable, already broken in shoes. You will be doing A LOT of walking.
2) Bring a change of socks in a zip lock bag for when you need to change your socks after it inevitably rains. The rain will most likely be drenching, but (usually) does not last all night.
3) Hydrate. With water and electrolytes. Hydrate more than you think you need to. Just because it is nighttime doesn't mean it still won't be hot or humid.
4)Use the app. (Make sure you download the Orlando version). It is very good about keeping wait times updated.
5) Make your express ticket your lock screen or have it as a screen shot.
6) Historically Nightmare Fuel will reach capacity nearly every show, so get there early. Earlier than you think you need to.
7) Take breaks. Sit down and rest every so often. Do it BEFORE you get tired.
8) Don't let anyone else tell you what you should like and dislike. There will be a lot of idiots online saying they didn't like a particular house. That's their opinion, and they are probably wrong.
9) Avoid ponchos. You can't wear them in the houses, and they just become cumbersome when it stops raining. Be like a local and just wait the rain out in a shop or restaurant.
10) Have fun. That's what it's all about.

Bonus: Travel Insurance. If you are not local, get the travel insurance.

I agree with everything marshmallow had to say, but I will add that LL Bean and some other companies have stowaway windbreakers that we use every year to great success.

Also, a water bottle with a carrying sling would be a good idea

Additionally, just be aware that the Express Pass is one time use only on each house, so if the line for a house is short enough and you think you might want to see it twice, I would save the Express for a second run

As well, lines tend to die off between 12:30am to 1:30am, so it’s a good time to hit up houses without needing Express

Is this policy? They’ve never stopped me before while wearing one (on the rare occasion I’m prepared for rain) + they sold them for Terrifier

I saw a few influencer posts about the food from the preview caught a few treats I hadn't seen posted from the official account yet. It looks like there's some Steve Harrington kind of peanut butter treat from Stranger Things for example. I'll try to go back and post any others.

I'm not sure this is accurate? A few years ago I tried to buy Express last minute, morning of opening night. It was sold out, but they had Unlimited available for purchase, but I opted to upgrade my ROF to ROF plus Express instead. Things can change every year though.
