I was thinking the same - Invasion almost kinda felt like a throwaway idea but they're clearly putting a lot into it!

The second they announced it and some details on the approach it shot up to my most anticipated. Sci Fi horror is my favorite genre and it seems that they are approaching the house as serious a horror experience as possible. If they can match the intensity of something akin to War of the Worlds or the VHS Alien Slumber Party short then it would be amazing. The premise seems simple, but the way they describe the effects make it sound like it will be a blast similar to Hatchet and Chains last year in the same spot.

Fun fact, that short "Slumber Party Alien Abduction" from VHS 2 was adapted into its own standalone movie called "Kids VS. Aliens." It's okay; Kinda rehashed and reinterpreted a lot of the stuff from the movie, and not necessarily for the better. It's the second short to be turned into its own standalone film behind VHS 1's "Amateur Night" about the origin of the girl/creature from the clip (played by the same actress) called "Siren."

I say this as someone who has a ranking of every VHS movie and every short in every VHS movie and is VERY excited about the SCP version coming out next year... The two Sci-Fi horror original houses we have this year have me VERY excited.

So is it safe to assume all the food booths are up now? Likely won't be getting a KKFOS/Terrifier/Fortnite one?

Maybe they'd put some clown stuff at the NY food kiosks/Louie's!

That would be a great idea! I feel like they have to...there's just so much potential for carnival/fair type foods to be used here...

Edit: Wait aren't there Jack and Oddfellow booths? So they'll probably put carnival/fair foods over there...but still I get what you mean. It would be cool to have KKFOS snacks i.e the big one: Cotton Candy...

True - those booths might cover everything in Clowntown!
