My only guess is Jack vs Harry, but Jack’s backstory takes place in the late 30s/early 40s and Harry’s in the 50’s I believe.

Sinners already has a facade, as does Hellraiser. I guess this could be Ozzy, but even for an ip-original the 20’s would be a weird fit for Ozzy.

Remember in the Universal Horror Hotel they mentioned Harry Kapawitz’s name?

I understand this is not a retread of the UHH, but my point is the facade belongs in the same era the Horror Hotel was set in as that was part of Harry’s backstory.

I think this is Hollywood Harry-related. What specifically, I don’t know. It’s possible It could be a theater showing his latest “dread time storiez” ala Slaughter Sinema.

i'm worried at the lack of variety in terms of scares (so maybe just a small part of a larger blumhouse maze is the way to go), but i think the latter half has some stuff to pull from 100%

It's definitely not enough for a full maze but it could conceivably fill up half a maze a la Freaky and Black Phone:

Spoiler: Spoilers for Obsession

• Poster room, have a scrim effect that shows Nikki (as a dummy) holding the flower vase. Voiceover alternates betwee the phone call to evil tech support and the Hansel and Gretel monologue.
• 1st room, facade of Bear's house. There's the car with Sarah's corpse inside. Scare of Nikki with the brick.
• Transition hallway. Features Nikki's shrine (so that it doesn't get lost in the finale room) and also the memorial to the cat. Poop smell. Scare with Nikki in the soiled outfit from when she waited the whole day.
• 2nd room, bedroom. Scare with Nikki in the corner screaming "stay."
• 3rd room, kitchen. Sandwich on the counter. Scare with Nikki standing in the corner holding the knife, which audience thinks is just a dummy at first.
• 4th room, living room (finale). Duct tape on the door, Sarah's mutilated corpse in the corner, Ian dead on the floor. Nikki with the brick again. Maybe Bear shows up too.

Nikki has enough outfits/looks that it wouldn't get repetitive imo.

I think there's definitely enough for a whole house. Personally, I'd make the facade the

One Wish Willow store (with Bear outside begging people to make a wish for him), move into the store as an opening scene, do a transition hallway where you hear him make a wish with a scrim scare of her suddenly standing there in a silhouette. And then move the rest of the maze in chronological order. You got plenty to work with especially if you also include the party, she could be hitting herself with the beer bottle, and I feel like the living room finale could be extended since so much happens in there with the gunshot too. Some scenes could even be expanded upon to be more scary like the diner ("I thought we were having a nice date!") and you could add an extra hallway of her in the bathroom wanting to go to the party, with a pop out scare ofcourse.

You'd need maybe one or two moments to be a little more than what the movie did, but I feel like it could be mostly be faithful and still hit all the moments while capturing the vibe of the movie.

While I agree it's coming, do we think Sinners will be the 1st house dual-coast IP announcement?

The reason why I think Hellraiser will be announced first its because the facade (the box) is fairly obvious and as construction progresses, they'd rather announce it before the facade really reveals clues.

Both would be great. I prefer Hellraiser but objectively I think it’s gonna be Sinners.

for poltergeist they didnt really care since it was a repeat, and it was a pretty big facade. then again i for terrifier until they had the shape before they added the sticker. there was that "oh this is probably something else" so thats what theyre probably banking on
